tick bite
I had soreness under my right arm, near my armpit and discovered a tick.My neighbor pulled it out for me but it still is sore and red, not a bulls eye though. Just to make sure it doesn't get worse is there any remedy that would address this bite?

Take Ledum 30c thrice daily for 2 days. Apply ledum mother tincture on the site for a few days.

Do you mean to say, bullocks die after tick bites? It'd be good to see what symptoms they get and treat them accordingly.
I do not have experience in suggesting med. for bullocks though my suggestion has worked well for cats, dogs and horses.
But trying Ledum Pal is a good way to see how it helps and please report the results.
Borrelia burgdorferi is a Lyme nosode. It may also be applied to reduce the negative impact from tick bites.
Another non-homeopathic suggestion is to use Frontline SPRAY all over the animal fur in prevention of fleas and ticks.

ya i mean it if hundreds of fleas sucking blood (tick bite is a misleading word,they stick and keep sucking the blood)for 1-2 years of an animal,what will happen?it will become very week.... and may die,due to lack of blood.

Have you seen ticks falling off after giving ledum to the host? i think that it is only good for the after effects of tick bite.

When Ledum is being administered the animals rarely pick up new ticks and the number of ticks on them go down. Embedded or not, for ticks, Ledum is the first line remedy for infected bites, to prevent consequences from the bites.

I think if we can demotivate the ticks somehow either through mechanical means or external medicine or internal medicine then we can reduce the effects from the infestation of ticks.
we'll have to try and see innovative solutions.
1) For farmers, raising guinea fowls will be a good solution as just 2 fowls can clear the tick population in 2 acres.
2) As i have suggested already, the Frontline spray applied externally on skin will keep off ticks and fleas. THere could be similar non-toxic anti-tick sprays which can be used with much benefit.
3) We can try a spray containing some homeopathic medicines. Staphy. 9c, anacardium 9c, caladium 9c, borrelia burgdorferi 9c for external use on the animals, on fields and close to cattle pens. This spray will repel ticks. And the spray can be strengthened by using a locally caught tick and potentised into 9c in place of borrelia burgdorferi.
4) When the animals start to suffer from weakness, loss of blood, suitable remedies can be applied, china being prominent for blood loss.
5) If we can succeed in constitutional treatment, the susceptibility of the organism towards such insects can be brought down.

It's going to be very technical:) and involve pharma. steps. Simple way is to get the nosode from the suppliers.
It can be done by nabbing a local tick safely. grind it in a small liquidiser set up for 20 minutes. To this macerated material, add mixture of alcohol/water(preferably 50% solution) , stir the solution vigorously for 10 minutes and leave the solution to settle for an hour or two. Then filter this solution using a filter paper.
From the resultant solution, take one drop to a bottle(preferably a capped one), and add 99 drops of water/alcohol mixture and succuss the bottle(this is done by shaking the bottle up and down vigorously for 10 times and during the downward motion of the bottle one needs to hit it against the inner surface of the palm). Discard the solution except a single drop. Now again add 99 drops of water/alcohol and repeat succussion as above. This cycle is repeated 9 times and what you have at the end is 9c of this substance.
