child with fever, bad throat and skin rash
my child who is almost 8 got a sore throat suddenly. I didn't give him anything for it. Very bad smelling breath. This was for two days, then he developed dry heat fever with what I think are Belladonna symptoms. Very dry, can feel the heat radiating from him, pupils large etc. He still has the fever but it doesn't affect his behaviour apart from needing more cuddles. As the third main symptom he has very itchy skin all over with red patches like nettle rash, this developed as the other two symptoms continue butcame last. he scratches which makes it worse and even draws blood. Appetitie is less than normal, wants fizzy drinks. Am I correct thinking thathe needs Rhus? What can cause the nettle rash as he hasn't had anything not suiting him and doesn't have any allergies? Rhustox can be tried.use the 1 LM (LM 1 or 0/1) potency,so that repetition will be easier and unwanted aggravation can be avoided.

It would take me a few days to order a remedyin such high potency. I gave him Rhus in 30C though but it hasn't made any difference. His mood is very good and lovable but his skin is covered in rash even fingers and toes. This could be because he has been told he will be moved to a different class at school. He is sensitive like that. His appetitite was better last night though and he slept well. So I guess I was wrong in saying there was no improvement?! He doesn' want his skin to be touched or rubbed at all nor wants to wash. Any more ideas or just wait for the very high dosage?

The 50 millesimal (LM 1/ 1 LM or 0/1 )potency would be a better choice, because we can expect fast relief.(Thats why i suggested this potency).
You can continue Rhustox 30 C/ 3 pellets/2 hourly till relief.(If the temperature is high, seek medical help promptly).

thanks it is the rash and the itch that is the main problem now, he hasn't complained about the sore throat nor coughed last night, and feels closer to the normal temperature. Maybe it is getting better but slower. Sorry that I am suspicious abouthigh potencies, it is just because I have read Luc de Schepper. Tahnks so much.
