4 month pregnant and typhoid

Dear all

My wife 30 four month pregnant has been suffering from very high fever form last 3-4 days. The widal test confirms typhoid. Other tests including sonography are normal. Her doctor prescribed ceftum 500mg. I would like to ask if there is any homeo medicine for typhoid and is ceftum safe during pregnancy.
She feels very high fever from evening to the morning with severe headach and also slight abdominal and back pain.
