Natural remedy for PMDD???

I have a friend whose daughter is 15 years old and has been diagnosed with PMDD. My friend is totally against having her take the birth control 'Yaz' which the doctor said would help, and her daughter is too young to take antidepressants...but the symptoms affect her very badly for two weeks every month and I know she's suffering.Does anyone know of something she could take that would relieve her PMDD?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopathy and Bach flower therapy can help patients with PMDD.A detailed case-history is needed to give suggestions.

These are the symptoms she wrote down for me...Since I am not her mother, I don't know any of her medical history....
the littlest things make me mad. and what's sad is that i know it's stupid, i just get so irate about everything and can't help it.
i cry randomly about nothing.
i'm always worrying and on edge.
i get headaches and my boobs hurt.
i'm always, always, always sleepy.
i get aches and pains in my shoulders and stuff.
i have extreme mood swings. one minute i'll be happy, then the next i'll be yelling about something.
i lose interest in things that i usually like to do and just want to lay in bed.
i'm not as social as i usually am.
it has affected my relationships with people and everything else.
it starts like..two and a half weeks before my period and it seems to always get worse and worse.
it also runs in my family.
i've had it for as long as i can remember, i just never really knew what it was.

hello. I can see how a mother would not want to put a 15-year-old on birth control. Does the girl get regular aerobic exercise? Like daily, for at least 45 min to an hour? I think that can help tremendously and is good for overall health anyway.

Female athletes are rarely diagnosed with PMDD, so that should vouch for the benefits of exercise at leat a little!

I don't know that a solution to a problem is always found in one single answer or treatment, but exercise would be a great place to start (assuming her doctor told her she couldn't exercise for whatever reason).
