Third stage remedy for Pertussis?

My 11 month old is in the third stage of whooping cough. He has been coughing for 7 weeks -hard - and 9 weeks total. His current cough fluctuates between slightly rattly and congested in the am to dry and intense during the night. He coughs so hard he turns red, 10-15 coughs in a row, sounds like he is choking, probably coughs up some mucus but we never see it..he seems to swallow it. He coughs all day long - perhaps 1-2 times an hour. He is fine in-between though he looks as if he is breathing a bit faster and is not getting a deep breath in. He has been seen by many doctors to check his progress and lungs always sounded good. Never had pneumonia. He does have intermittent wheezing and possible reactive airway disease according the ped and our family history. I gave him anitmonium tar for the last two days and that has seemed to help his rattle and his wheezing. The cough is still strong...if not stronger and dryer since i gave the anti tar. Can anyone recommend which remedy to calm the cough?

Other info: he is teething, no drool or nose mucus right now. He is very social, fine with strangers but is best comforted by rocking and holding. Very excessive night waking - every one-three hours typically. We are exhausted!!

This is our second post - please help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If anti. tart. 6c helped, then give him anti. tart. 30c thrice daily for next couple of days.

thanks maheeru. It hasn't helped his cough which is so rough on him (especially after 9 weeks of coughing). It has only helped with the rattle in his chest. So will the anti tart eventually help the cough if it hasn't yet?

Please give him carbo veg 30c thrice daily for two days and report there after. Stop anti. tart.
