how to dilute a tincture (cineraria maritima)?

I want to use Cineraria Maritima for treatment of cataract.
The label says Eth. 49,8% v.v
How to dilute the tincture to get eyedrops.

Would 1:50 be a good choice?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would not recommend that you experiment with making a solution of Cineraria Maritima (CA) from the Mother Tincture which you wish to use in your eyes as you will be using a product which requires a very specialized method of production. Remember that you intend to use it in your eye which is already affected by a cataract. I would not recommend that you experiment with your eyes.

I am 81 years of age and used CA daily about 10 years ago daily for about 2 years to treat a cataract which was identified in 1995 in my left eye. I used the product made by a German laboratory as directed in the instructions twice daily for 2 years but did not see any improvement in my vision as the cataract did not improve and seemed to be static in its progress.

I was using Arnica 30c since 1996 and my Optometrist who first identified it in 1992 was very surprised about 5 years later that my cataract was not 'maturing' as a cataract usually does when one's vision gets progressively worse and one is faced with no alternative than cataract surgery.

I have used Arnica 30c first in the Dry pellets and since 2005 in the Wet dose nightly and I believe that the reason for my cataract not progressing and getting worse is due to my Arnica which I have taken nightly and not the CM.

When my cataract was first identified I was using a -5.5 correction for both my eyes and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that within just over a year of my starting on Arnica my eyesight returned back to normal and I did not need my glasses any more. I now use glasses for reading only as my short sight or distance vision is perfect. I can see colours perfectly but I still notice the cataract when I look directly at a powerful light when I see some flare emanating from the light which I do not notice in my other eye.

My advice to you is to take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose twice daily for a month and reduce it later to just once nightly as it is far more effective to control your cataract than CM.

I believe that there is no treatment to reduce a cataract. It can however be controlled in its progress of deepening or worsening with Arnica. If your cataract is advanced there is no option to surgery which is not at all painful if the surgery is done by a competent surgeon when an implant is inserted.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made up as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also known as Liquid Dilution.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles.
This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is sipped as directed.

Please note that the Arnica is NOT to be used in the eye and must only be sipped twice daily.

Hello Joe,

Thanks for your comments on my question.
The German factory (Reckeweg) does not deliver the product you used anymore.

So I was able to buy this tincture from a respected producer ( formely Homeoden now Heel from Belgium)

Dos that change your concerned advise?

Or do you stay on your advise to use the wet dose Arnica 30C?

I have a cataract in a very early stadium and would be satisfied with stopping the process. Asking to much is no help at all and I should like to maintain the current situation.

It is interesting to learn that Rackeweg dose not market their CM eyedrops anymore. I presume that they were forced to stop production as those who used it would have complained that it was completely useless, as I too discovered.

As I stated in my last post, I speak from my own experience and although I was considering surgery about a year ago which a close friend of mine who is an eye surgeon will do free of any charge for me, he had one look at my eye and inquired why I wished to have an implant as according to him it was not indicated after all these years.

This is after virtually 15 years of using Arnica 30cin the Wet dose.

Suggest you too follow my example.

Hi, i heard that cineraria maritima succus is one of the best remedies for cataract...can somebedy please be so kind and tell me how to get the eyedrops?

Let me explain...

i heard that only Cineraria tincture or succus is effective and that commercial products arent.

I heard also that the mother tincture must be used diluted in saline water.

So how can i obtain the cineraria eyedrops?

Do i need to buy the cineraria maritima in liquid dilution and then dilute with saline water?

Can somebody please tell me how to make the eydrops?

Thanks

You can buy Cineraria Maritime eye drops from
Schwabeindia.

It is listed under Specialty Products

http://www.schwabeindia.com/schwabe-Germany-products

This would be the easy way to do this.

Hi simone thanks for the answer but first the link doesnt work and second...i really heard that is best to use the succus...i mean using the mother tincture/liquid dilution and make it by yourself.

I would trust the liquid dilution more cause commercial products are not effective.

Dr Boericke said that.

So if i buy the cineraria maritima in liquid dilution from this site, then i cant put drops directly into my eyes because it can burn...so i need to dilute it in saline water like dr Boericke said.

Where can i find saline wate, but mroe improtantly how can i make the eydrops?

Please somebody that knows help!
Thanks!

Yes, Dr. B said that, ..almost 100 years ago. None of
these products existed then.

Why don't you just google Schwabe India and ask
them what they use in the drops- the mother tincture
or ?? 3x or whatever.

There are sterile saline solutions in the stores,
simple sterile salt water ( for the nose) Perhaps you
can get one and take the top off and do what you want
here and squirt into your eyes. However, I would
not do it unless you know the info, and obviously
Schwabe, etc knows what is safe and not safe.

Aggarwal homeopharmacy has all the eye products.
Links are not working right- all you have to do
is google cineraria maritime drops and do your
own research.

Thanks for the name simone i will have a look. I already did all of my research, now am much more knowledgeable.

And yes you right on the fact that it was said years and years ago...

Am gonna get in contact with them and ask all the details.

The reason why i told you that is because most eye drops contain dangerous preservatives like benzalkonium chloride, and others so i think is much better doing it by yourself.

Also i heard that commercial products are not effective.

Anyway will see what i can do,

thanks man
