bleeding from lungs, please help -

Hi!
My name is Payel Banerjee. My dad is 79 years old and is diagnosed with “Goodpasture’s Syndrome”. Please, please, please help if anybody knows any remedies. Here are the symptoms –
1. Bleeding from the upper right lobe of the lungs. Looks like it’s the worst after he is waking up in the morning (4/5a.m.).
2. With little cough sometimes fresh red blood coming out, sometimes it’s blackish. Sometimes a lot and sometimes in small quantities.
3. When it’s happening, it’s happening for 2/3 days and then stopping for 2/3 days and then again it’s staring.
4. It has been happening for around 3 weeks now. So far kidneys are not affected.
5. Hemoglobin count is going up and down between 9-12 and so far no blood transfusion was needed though he is becoming weaker and weaker.
6. His general health is very good, he doesn’t have any chronic health problem so far except slightly high blood pressure. He has acidity problem but he takes care of himself with homeopathy medicines. He might be slightly allergic to cold and sneezes or suffers from runny nose in the morning.
7. From lung X-ray 2 white inactive patches were found that says that he had T.B. at one point of time (20-25Yrs. Ago}, wasn’t treated but body took care of it and is not cause of any trouble at present.
8. From the blood tests, doctors ruled out T.B. or cancer. Biopsy was not done though because of the age factor.
9. This happened another time around 15/20 years ago and within a week it was okay and for so long time he had no problems. That time he took medications that helps to stop bleeding as far as I remember.
10. He is a smoker but not a chain smoker. Before this problem started he use to smoke 7/8 cigarettes per day.
So far he has been treated with vitamin K, antibiotic for any possible infection. Please, please, please let me know if any more info needed and help me if you could. He is full of life even at this age and I don’t want to lose him from my life.
Thank you-
Payel

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The meds for him are Tuberculinum and Phosphorus.

However...in his condition better to get him examined from a homeo doctor in your vicinity.

Until you can take him to the homeo doctor...give him three doses of Phosphorus 200...in gaps of one hour each...then no more.

However, if you notice any aggravation after any dose...stop giving further doses.

Hi Pankaj!

Quick Question - Tuberculinum, what potency?Should be given after phosphorus or before it and how many times a day and for how long?

I am trying to get a very experienced homeo doc. at my home but might take a day or two.

Last night the bleeding was very severe and I am hoping and praying that he will get better soon.

Thanks, will be waiting for your reply-

There are 2 remedies that can help to stem the flow of blood which is caused by a damaged arterial bleeder in the lungs.

Lachesis 200c dose 4 pellets sublingually. This is best taken last thing at night and should hopefully ensure that when he waked up in the morning that the bleeding is stemmed.

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose which will hopefully help fresh tissue to grow over the bleeder. This can be taken twice daily.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made up as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also known as Liquid Dilution.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles.
This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is sipped as directed.

I have just read your statement and to say that I am shocked is an understatement.

'10. He is a smoker but not a chain smoker. Before this problem started he use to smoke 7/8 cigarettes per day.'

Please inform your dad that if he wishes to live at least up to my age of 81 he
MUST STOP SMOKING IMMEDIATELY.

The Arnica I have prescribed will help to reduce and hopefully stop the urge for that next cigarette.

Hi Pankaj!

Wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart that after taking Phosphorus 200 as you suggested and 1 dose of Tuberculinum 200 the bleeding has almost stopped. Still waiting for the doctor to come and visit him. Anything else that you think might help? Any follow up med.?

Do you think Kali Carb. might help too?

Once again I am falling short in words to thank you still a BIG THANK U-

Payel

For the other reply -

Thanks a lot for the other suggestions too and taking the time to reply to me. For now looks like Phosphorus and Tuberculinum worked really well. Dad has already stopped smoking.

Don't give Kali Carb.

Don't repeat Tuberculinum (It is not to be repeated).

Give Phosphorus 200 ..one dose every morning...until the doc arrives.

Dear Pankaj

Please accept my congratulations on your 'Pankajopathy' for successfully handling this case.

I would never have thought of the 2 remedies you prescribed.

Hi Payel,
I am sorry to hear about your fathers condition. How is he doing now? It seems that my mother is also suffering from the same syndrome. Though we have consulted several chest specialist in this regard but neither of them have told us the name of this syndrome. Some of them suggested lungs surgery for the same after bronchoscopy but they sounded too apprehensive about it. So, we are following homeopathy treatment now.
I'd like to know that what are the tests suggested to diagnose kidney failure in this case as we just wanted to be sure she hasnt been infected in the kidney. Recently, she has started experiencing some burning sensation in urination so I am too concerned. Please reply soon.
