Less Kindney Function
I NEED HELP:I am 70 years old, in Jan-08 I found that the Renal Cortex of my Kidneys is very thin and my Urea & Creatinie (Serum) are very High and Haemoglobin is getting Low. I consulted a Kidney Specialist who told me that there is no Medicine for Lowering Blood Urea & Creatinie Level but we can control it with 'PERHAIZ' so I didnt eat Banana,Red Meat etc etc. and he start giving me Epogen injection for maintaining Haemoglobin. I was getting better.
But now from the last few months Blood Urea & Creatinie Level has started to go very high and Haemoglobin is reducing I am also loosing weight. Doctor is suggesting Dialysis. I dont want that.
NOW I WANT TO KNOW IS HOMEOPATHY HAS SOMETING FOR IMPROVING KIDNEY FUNCTION AND HAEMOGLOBIN LEVEL.

The current values of tests are as follows:
Urea=97
Creatinie=2.6
Haemoglobin=5.9
Haematocrit=21
Morphology of RBCs=Hypochromia, Anisocytosis
I got a Heart attack in 1992 and I was a chain smoker for 40 years. I left smoking in end 2008. I dont have diabaties or Cholestrol. LFT test is normal.
I just want that the remaining days of my life passes with ease without pain of Dialysis.

I regret to note that you have deliberately condemned yourself to all the problems you have listed as a result of your smoking for 40 long years. There is still some hope that just one remedy in Homeopathy can help you but I cannot be certain that it will do so till you use it for a few months and report your response.
Serum Anguillae 6c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily for a week and twice daily thereafter is the main remedy.
You will also benefit from those listed below:
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
Ferr Phos 6x dose 3 tablets taken thrice daily to improve your Blood.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle which can be used as a dose.
Drink at least 3 ltrs of liquids daily preferably water.

I note your disbelief in using the therapy that I have prescribed:

This is Homeopathy or more correctly 'Joepathy' and I can reassure you that this remedy used in this manner has helped and is helping at least 10 patients whom I have treated directly in Sri Lanka where I live, and countless others on the ABC and other Homeo Forums that I used to visit in the past.
I note that you have not read the therapy I have prescribed in my last post. You do not use 3cm of water as you are expected to pour this level out of the bottle to create some air space which is necessary for succussion. You will be left with about 450ml of water into which you will insert just 3 drops of Serum Anguillae 6c and sip 1 capful twice daily as directed.

Dear Joe De Livera,
Many thanks for prescribing good Medicines. These have helped me a lot. I has living almost normal for the last 4 months or so but now I have developed some more problems.
1- I am lossing weight very fast and going very weak.
2- I cannot walk much.
3- Some times I feel dizzy.
Following are the current results of my tests.
Urea=80
Creatinie=1.85
Haemoglobin=6.3
Haematocrit=20%
ESR=143
Morphology of RBCs=Hypochromia, Anisocytosis
Remarks: Normochromic anemia.
I am also taking Recombinant human erythropoietin 2000 IU once every 7 days.
Now I request you to kindly suggest what should I do. continue using the current Homeo medicines suggest by you or not. kindly also do something for my weakness.

Glad to note that my therapy which I prescribed to you immediately after I first saw your post on August 1 2010 has helped you to return back to normal since that time.
I have often wondered how you fared and I would have expected you to have had the courtesy of reporting whether or not my therapy had helped you months ago when you first discovered that my Joepathy had helped you. This is a fault that many patients do not usually consider after the prescriber helps the patient without the benefit of a face to face consultation, free of charge as this is all taken for granted.
However if there is any fault in the therapy prescribed this usually results in harsh criticism not only from the patient but from the many classical homeopaths that haunt this and other forums on the sidelines waiting for the opportunity of casting the first stone. This is more so in my case as I do not practice classical homeopathy as although I use and prescribe the standard Homeopathic remedies, I follow my own principles on their usage which usually works as you have already experienced during the last few months since last August when you were almost returned back to normal according to you post.
You have requested me to prescribe other remedies that can help you to overcome your current problems and I can only think of increasing your dosage of Ferr Phos 6x to 4 tablets thrice daily and changing the potency of the Arnica to 200c to be taken in the Wet dose twice daily.
I regret that I am not able to prescribe for your wife and hope that other classical Homeopaths will oblige.

My problem is that I am very old and cannot use computer and internet. I tell every thing to my son Ahmed he writes posts on my behalf and also tells me what is the reply. Hope you can understand.

I do have my son to help me in running my business and this gives me some free time to devote to my Joepathy.

I do not think that you require any more food to help you today but you can increase your intake of liquids especially water which will help with your circulation. Continue with your exercise and if you feel unsteady on your feet, you can have your son to assist you. Exercise is necessary on a daily basis as we advance in years as it is essential to keep the muscles in optimum condition.
