Alopecia Areata
My son 13yrs has been suffering from alopecia areata ( baldness ) in a patch of the size of a coin on the left hand back side of the head. The treatment with skin creams and lotions like Momate and dietary changes did provide a cure but the patch has resurfaced. He has weak immunity due to adenoids in the nasal pasage which get infected frequently leading to stuffy nose, fever etc. and hence the doctors say that we have no cure.Recently i was suggested to give him phosphorus acid 200 twice daily with a combination of acontie 30, kali bich 30, apis 30, gelsimium 30 . all medicine administered in pill form in the gap of 30 minutes each , twice a day.
The nasal situation seems better with the above doses but there is no improvement in the hair growth on the patch.
would appreciate inputs on the remedy for alopecia .
