Stiff Neck

Two days ago , i developed a stiff neck. very difficult to move neck at all.i applied pain releif sprays and did a hot compress but there was not releief. then i took combiflam which gave a mild relief. My homeopath advised me for Ruta G 30 three times a day. The neck seems to have responded to exercise and the medicine. The neck is worst in the morning between 4 and 6 am , i am often afflicted with this problem on the left side,
i generally sleep on my left on a hard bed with a soft pillow.
is there a homeapathic remedy for this sudden onset of neck pain that occurs once in 3 to 4 months .

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Rhus Tox 200c may work better. Ruta is also a good remedy.

i have been taking the Ruta G 30 every 3 hours and although i feel good, do you suggest that i should change to Rhus Tox 200C or i should wait for a day and see if it gets cured with Ruta G. My homeo had suggested both Rhust Tox and Ruta

You should stick to Ruta 30 if you are feeling good. No need for any remedy change.
