burning sensation in the soles
i am 48 years old. I have burning sensation in the soles. It starts only ion the evening and remains till morning. is there any remedy for this?geetha on 2004-03-15

Burning sensation in the soles is a common symptom of Diabetes mellitus. Have you got your blood sugar checked up anytime? If so what are the readings?
If the levels are normal SULPHUR 200 a dose at bedtime for a week should be good enough for the burning in the soles.

I just recollected memories of prescribing as a beginer when I used to px polycrests often with most of time in failure.With time I became wiser.
I must tell you that I am far beyond defn of polycrests.If you were to argue on the basis of One sided cases, then Mr Varma I must tell you they really very rare.

Dear Dr.Sadhvani,
I totally agree with you. No prescription can be on one symptom alone. That is why my aim in answering any query is usually to see that I give the person an idea about what could be the probability of the problem behind the symptoms and what Homeopathy can do to for the same. Generally I suggest a remedy after taking more symptoms. But my experience on this forum has been a little different, in the sense that when I have not suggested a remedy because of insufficient symptoms or when the person has not updated on the queries, it is misconstrued that I am not helping them or trying not to reveal my "knowledge". But one thing they do not understand is that for example in this particular case though I have just named a remedy it has not helped the recipient because neither has there been a follow up on those symptoms or usage of that remedy.
I am sure with reminders like these things will get better.

I am sure you will appreciate the fact that it is only because I am positive, so is my response.
Though the remedy may be right it would be early to indicate it without further symptoms.

You have wasted lot of time and effort in kibitzing and finding fault to prove you excellence.
In the process the main issue of the needy person seeking good advice is lost.
Instead, if you had made some positive suggestions and recommendation would have helped all.
Be constructive and positive and try to help rather than showing your excellence.

Hello Dr. Venugopal and Dr. Sadhwani,
I have no argument with what you two gentlemen are saying.
I also possess in depth knowledge of homeopathy and have been at it for more than 20 years. I also made some mistakes when I first started learning homeopathy.
When I said "polycrests"....I had analysed that Dr. Venugopal had read and considered at least three symptoms that matched prescribing SULPHUR.
However, the most important thing is what MAN MOHAN is saying. Pl. all devote valuable time in helping others rather than just nit-picking at each other.
If you really have the depth of knowledge that you claim (I am not doubting it), please help others in finding solutions to their problems.
Let us not forget that we have all sat and enjoyed the shade of many trees which were planted by some one else and not us. May this be a way of giving back to the world what we gained from it free.

I had already suggested ,that you can not(in fact you should not under any circumstances)prescribe on single symptoms.
Chances of px going wrong are 99%,you might create more problems if suppression occurs.
It would be iteresting to see the result of treatment.
I would request Geetha to come back
,with the outcome of treatment.

I repeat can you quote what direct help you have given to the needy person except wasting your breath in finding fault with those who I presume are as knowledgeable as you are and ABOVE ALL ARE TRYING TO HELP. Dear Sir, what is your positive contribution to the patient? As much as you do, we all know that homeopathy is aimed to treat the person holistically. But there are times and situation mostly seen in the Forums that one has to try and resolve the problem with single symptom.

If there is no other prominents symptoms and we only need to tackle single headed symptom which is causing problem then in few cases we can prescribe on single symptom.
Have you seen video tape of George vithoulkas case taking techniques. In which he took two hours on a case. 27 remedies were in line but when the patient told him one unique symptom then he prescribed aconite. Frankly speaking, aconite was not in line in 27 numbers.

My soles burn intensely.It is almost unbearable.The symptoms are :
the burning in the right sole is more prominent.
Heat and temperature aggravate the burning.
Cold air draft from Air Conditioner ameliorates the burning.
The burning increases in the evening .
I do not feel thirsty.
I have to urinate frequently as if I can not digest water.
disturb and bloated stomach.
gradual failing of eye sight.
feels disturbed on being overlooked by others.
Sleep is ok.
INTENSE BURNING OF SOLE ALL THE TIME AND AT ALL PLACES.
PLEASE HELP.PLEASE.

Try Pulsatilla 30 daily morning and evening for three days.
Make sure there are no odors around you,on you(perfumes etc)and in your mouth while taking the medicine.
Report back after a week.
Meanwhile get checked for sugar problem.
