Cat Ascites from Possible Liver Tumor or Portal Vein Obstruction

My poor cat had a huge benign tumor removed in March. Now his abdomen is full from ascites. Vet thinks the remaining tumor cells might have turned malignant or there's a portal vein obstruction. She doesn't think anything more surgically can be done. Can anyone recommend a remedy for ascites and liver cancer? I'm giving him Hydrastis Can 6x per a suggestion from a homeopathic pharmacy, but it doesn't seem to be helping lose the fluid. I feel it's made him worse. Any help would be much appreciated. And I do have an appointment with a homeopathic vet but I can't get in til Monday. Anything that would help with the fluid? Thank you.

You may wait for 1-2 days, if there is no improvement you may try Lycopodium 30c thrice a day for 2 days.

Neither has worked. Have not tried the Lycopodium 30c because the homeopathic vet I consulted with said not to focus on the ascites but to focus on getting his organs stronger.

What a bummer. I love the little guy.

If I do try the Lycopodium, I will post back.
