Boyfriend's eyes see white spots in light

Hi there,
My boyfriend began to have trouble with his eyes a few years ago. In light, brightness, snowy days he sees white spots in his vision. Dr.'s said this was because the 'gels sacks' behind his eyes became liquefied and there is no cure for this besides invasive eye surgery where there is a risk of permanent damage to vision.
If you are aware of this condition, please let us know what it is, why it happened and most importantly prescribe a homeopathic treatment/remedy that can help restore the 'gel sacks' and his vision.

Thank you very much in advance,
