This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
one more thing.
normally, the throat is fine. but when it collapses one of two things happen: either a very, very strong cold comes on with impossibly runny nose, for which a few steroids (10mg wysolone) is taken OR, as happened with alcohol, a severe throat infection with cough which went away with antibiotics and keeping off alcohol for good. Also, recently, antacid omez taken during the fracture gave rise to major cough.

also, taken steroids off and one when the allergy which comes on is too severe after eating peanuts or some milk product.

Please give her Calcarea Carb 200c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I would recommend a dose of Medorrhinum 1M ...tomorrow morning on empty stomach.

Eating , drinking tea , brushing teeth etc only 45 minutes after taking the dose.

For 24 hours after taking this dose...no other med to be taken...homeopathic and / or allopathic or any other.

No coffee, no garlic, don t use perfumes, don t use camphor perfumes (usually done in prayers ) etc.

After 72 hours post residual symptoms. Will re-assess the case and recommend next med to be given.

Dear Kadwa...no offence meant...however...Cal. Carb. not suitable where there is aversion to eggs.

She hasn't taken anything as yet since that first dose of calcerea carb 200C. It is not worse, but not really better. although it is a condition that can be lived with, not severe, she would like it to get better. Now what? Take the same or something else?

thanks.

OK. For those who are reading this thread.... lyc 200 was suggested as the indicated remedy (in my opinion) on the basis of totality of symptoms. Symphytum 30 for her fracture.
