where to buy empty bottle(s)

If I were to share my personal bottle of remedies with someone. But I do not want to give them the whole bottle of the remedy but share some and give some to them. When I give them my personal bottles they never get returned when they are gone with the remedy, and I get left with none....

so, I do not know where to get the empty bottle(s) to put the remedy into it to share with others that is safe.

In many of my previous posts I have mentioned that all Optometrists who sell Contact Lenses are an unending source of little glass bottles which are all fitted with plastic caps.

They can be used for the storage of the dry lactose pellets commonly used to market Homeopathic remedies.

The vials must be boiled preferably in a Pressure Cooker which will hold the bottles down with some metal object inside like the lid of a saucepan as there is a tendency for them to float around and shatter otherwise.

The plastic lids are removed and boiled separately as some may disintegrate otherwise in a Pressure Cooker.

They are then dried and are ready for use.

New glass remedy containers are cheap. I just use new ones.

Not in this part of the world, they are not.

It is not the cost that is relevant but it is more the utility of the little vials with a nylon cap that make them ideal for the storage of the pelllets.

These vials are all discarded by the Optometrists and they are ever willing to give them to anyone who asks for them.

Yes, here in the U.S., I am having trouble finding replacement bottles to share my remedies with others.

My One Sister is a Optometrists, but I always see the lenses cases here with plastic kinds and I thought it would be hard to keep the remedies in those case that I have seen.

'venting'

I am going to change how I do things here in the U.S., since many people don't know about homeopathy here, they do not understand the cost involved.

our health care system has trained people so much to pay for medications only and question the rest. It drives me nuts!

and when you can find a homeopathy practitioners in U.S., (which is few) the homeopathy practitioners here charge $300.00 for one visit, (with no remedy..cause the law don't allow them) when is that fair???

Homeopathy, here is considered 'holistic' and many people do not understand the science that has to be involved.

The friends and family I have or am helping. never return with results or never tell you what changes they have noted. I will have to hunt them down and ask them 'how are you feeling' or 'how that remedy do for you?' EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

am I doing too much for them, that they do not appreciate homeopathy, I do not know?
if I tell them to buy the remedies before giving the allopathy a try. It does not get done.

even if you teach them one dose is four pills. and I only want you to take one dose and that 's it..... later I check on them, I find that first day they have take one pill (hold it their finger and leak it.) the second day, they were going to take two pills..the next , etc...

I was told by one boyfriend of my sister. who I bought and shipped Lycopodium 200c (along with many other remedies to have on hand.)
that (the example above, was done because he has allergies to some pine, and they googled Lycopodium and it had some and they wanted to work up to it. Instead of asking...

anyways, I was wrong with the remedy since they withheld information. later I find out that they went to shoot guns at a gun rink. I saw the a different picture and he needed Nat Mur instead.
which they have the remedy but I do not know if it was taken.

my sister needed Ignatia since her separation from her husband. gave her Ignatia 2ooc, and half an hour later another dose. told her to wait, asked few days when I was going though her boyfriends case (above) if she too can take something. Drives me nut's
( I know, my sister needs Nat Mur, Staphysagria, and phosphorous and I'm sure, some others as well in the future.)

My husband told me that I can no longer help people with homeopathy.
but says it is ok for me to buy the remedies for myself and of course...the Books as well.
it does Not get appreciated with the time that I study their cases, and the amount of money I spend to send the remedies to them.

so, I will be taking a little off from here and not helping family and friends...and rest....I will be reading my books and study (for now!).

A2Zhomeopathy sells glassware in small amounts for less than $1 each.

Hahnemann said that appreciative people will appreciate you doing homeopathy for them, while non-appreciative people won't. It doesn't have to do with how much you improve them, but with who they are underneath.

My experience is that homeopathy is very cheap.

A homeopathic remedy costs $5, and contains 200 pills. I use one pill to make the liquid for each patient.

Only if I have to buy a new medicine or a new potency is there any cost.

I am emotionally run down.

If cost is important, you might look into buying a complete set of homeopathic remedies. One pharmacy that I trust makes a professional kit of 100 medicines in 30c or 200c for $195 and $225 respectively.

That's $2.25 per homeopathic remedy.

Is Being a Good Homeopath Enough?
We should aim to cure sometimes, to relieve often, but to comfort always.
—William Osler MD
Early in my career as a homeopath I saw a nine-year old boy who suffered from asthma, recurrent bladder infections and psoriasis. After taking a careful case, I prescribed the remedy Staphysagria 1M. The child did well with complete resolution of his chronic asthma and bladder symptoms and a gradual amelioration of his psoriasis symptoms over time. I was very pleased and felt that I had found the similimum (the exact right remedy for the case).
Yet the child had a very physically abusive father. The child was very shy, withdrawn and quiet, suppressing much anger about his family situation. After the remedy, he became more vocal and challenging to his parents. This was intolerable to his father who became so enraged that he beat him, breaking the child’s arm and leg and the child had to be hospitalized. The family refused to let me see the child again. Later I learned that he had fully relapsed with resumption of his physical symptoms.
This, and other similar cases, brought me to wonder if being a good homeopath is always enough? I have found that it is just as important to be a good healer as it is to be a good homeopath. Some homeopaths are poor healers, while some excellent healers have minimal skills as a homeopath.
To be a good healer, one must possess wisdom, compassion and the capacity to see the larger picture. This requires the ability to hold and build rapport with one’s patients. It necessitates mutual respect between patient and practitioner. It is much more than simply technique or knowledge.
What attracts patients to a homeopath is most often not their homeopathic knowledge as much as their skills as a healer. When asked why they chose a particular practitioner, patients will often say “he listened” or “she cared” or “I felt comfortable with her”, rather than “he has much homeopathic knowledge”.
I believe that it is important to teach and train homeopathic practitioners to be more than just good homeopaths. Specific skills and attitudes as a healer need to be nurtured and developed. This, unfortunately, is something that is frequently neglected in allopathic training. Much of this training must be individualized. Every practitioner and teacher has certain skills, knowledge and qualities that are unique to them and that make them good at what they do. These are akin to the secret ingredient that a master chef places in his/her creation. This is part of the magic and mystery that makes the homeopathic process work. Good teachers do not focus so much on imparting this quality to their students. as helping their students find the gifts that they bring to homeopathy that are uniquely their own.
With my patient, I learned that finding the right remedy is not always enough. It is vital to see the whole picture and to determine what type of effect giving the right remedy would have on the system. For example, in the above case, it would have been necessary to treat the parents before even considering treating the child. This of course presupposes that the homeopath can even see the potential for abuse. Cases like these have been vital to my growth as a homeopath and as a healer.
