kids with strep...again

I am hoping someone can help...My six and four year old are on their fourth episode of strep throat since september...always treated with antibiotics. My son does get any sx other than a stomach ache. A lady at the health food store near me gave me Astragalus/Echinacea drops to use...?Am i on the right track? any other suggestions?

None without symptoms. They are suffering from repeated suppressions, and this is not easy to treat with a few words. Half a page on each child...Read other postings.

NEVER__ NEVER use antibiotics. They can and do despress or destroy the immune system.

They destroy the natural balance of the digestion , and are a contributory factor to osteoporosis!.

Lacto bacillus -or live yoghurt help to replace the natural flora and fauna of the stomach which help the body to digest - and which the antibiotics destroy!!.

Stay away from any strong flavours or spicy food . Use simple natural products and get a copy of Alf Vogel's book

I appreciate your response--sorry for the delay in reading--I have had two deaths in my family in the last two weeks--anyhow, my children once again have strep throat, once again without sx, it was suggested to me that they see an ENT, however, my son already had his tonsils and adenoids removed because of airway obstruction. I wish I were more familiar with other ways of treating strep other than antibiotics. They have been taking acidophilus daily since January. I am going to buy the book suggested to me, but it seems before i can even read it, they have strep again!! Are there a such thing as homeopathic "antibiotics" that could treat this safely?

Only suggestion , if the throat is shiny and red try Belladona 30c twice a day .

HI I have step right now and didn't catch it early. I am new to homeopathics but hav a friend who works with a doctor who sells them in his clinic. They have put me on a homeopathic antibiotic - penicillium and it seems to be working. I am not sure about the dosage for a child. I would reccommend calling a clinic that sells them. Best of luck
