High LDL Cholesterol levels, please help

Hello everyone,

my mother (age 67) has been having cholesterol problems for a while now, but has managed to keep the levels below the danger zone. She has been off animal and other saturated fats for years now, she eats nothing but fruit, vegetables, low-fat dairy and an occassional egg white. She is not overweight, she is slim and petite.

Recently she discovered that her LDL is up, doubled in fact (I will have to check with her for the exact values). The doctors say it must be genetic, because she has the healthiest living habits, as I've mentioned. They have prescribed some drugs that are extremely bad for the liver, kidneys and your whole system basically. So she is obviously very concerned about taking this course of action.

Can anyone help please? I've read that Cholesterinum can be at least a short-term help for high cholesterol. How safe is it? What should be the dosage? Could there be any aggravation?

Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose will reduce her Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels. She will also notice that she will sleep very soundly after taking this remedy which I recommend be taken just before bed.

I am 81 years of age and have proved that Arnica will keep the Lipid Profile of anyone who uses it at optimum levels. My BP is

I failed to give the standard instructions on making the Wet dose.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle as directed.

Your mother will take her dose of Arnica twice daily.

First thing in the morning and just before bed.

I recommend that the cap of the bottle be used as the dose but a teaspoonful is also acceptable.

Mr. De Livera,

thank you for your prompt reply.

I should mention that my mother has low to moderate and very often changeable blood pressure, especially during changes of weather. Will Arnica further lower it? Because she has strong reactions to very low blood pressure: diziness, pounding in the ears, overall exhaustion.

What might be the possible aggravation symptoms of taking Arnica?

Also, is the difference between overall cholesterol and LDL significant? Because her overall cholesterol is also raised, while the bad kind, LDL, is double the normal value.

Is there anything that could provide a quicker release? Because both she and her doctors are concerned that she might experience some damage to her blood vessels.

The exercising and diet is a given with my mother, as she has been taking good care of herself for years.

Please advize.

Arnica cannot possibly lower your mother's BP nor can it cause any aggravation. It would be more informative if you had quoted it.

I am glad to note that she is not Hypertensive and am confident that the Arnica taken as prescribed will do her a world of good.

To Parmjit

I regret to inform you that there is no Homeopathic cure for a baby's Inguinal Hernia.

This is a condition that occurs very rarely but the surgery is not at all major as the surgeon will be using the Mesh technique which will seal off the Hernia by opening up the skin.

it is best to prepare him by giving him Arnica 30c in the Wet dose twice daily on the day prior to surgery. Increase the dosage to thrice daily on the day of surgery and for a few days after as this will help to deaden the pain and will also ensure a quick recovery. The liquid remedy can be given to him in a teaspoon with the baby in an upright position or in a feeding bottle.

Please do not delay with the surgery since you have noticed that the opening of the Hernia is increasing.
