My mother aged 73 has Liver Cirrhosis Can somebody suggest medicine

Scan Date 08/09/2010.



Here is the Ultrasonography of the abdomen and pelvis

Liver measures 13.2 cms, normal in size and shows coarse echotexture with surface irregularity. No focal lesions.

The intrahepatic biliary radicles are normal. The hepatic veins and the intrahepatic IVC appear normal.

The portal is prominent and normal in caliber (PV=14mm)



Gall bladder is contracted.The CBD is normal in caliber.


Pancreas is obsured by bowel gas disturbances.


Impressions :

Both Kidneys are normal in size and normal in echotexture.

The corticomedullary

differentiation maintained.

No hydronephrosis. No Calculi

Urinary bladder empty

Evidence of free fluid noted in the peritoneal cavity.

Evidence of diffuse edema of the lower anterior abdominal wall


Impressions:


FEATURES ARE SUGGESTIVE OF CHRONIC PARENCHYMAL DISEASE OF THE LIVER

EVIDENCE OF MODERATE ASCITES

MINIMAL LEFT PLUERAL EFFUSION



What does this ultrasound tell me about my mothers health, somebody pls explain and suggest me some homeoremedies. I pray again....
