Breech Baby

I am 35 weeks pregnant with a baby in breech position. I have been talking with the baby about turning. I have been invertng physiclly to give the baby room when he is ready to turn. I understand homeopathy can be very helpful here. I read about pulsatilla. I have 30c in my kit.

My concern is with the state of mind aspect of homeopathy. Both mine and the baby's. This is a second pregnancy with little or no complications (the first was bedrest, bleeding and lost of complications- with a perfect fast, natural delivery. Beautiful baby.)

I have been so busy with my first active child that I have not obsessed about this pregnancy at all. Time is passing and I know all is fine.

So I don't want to interfere in what might need to happen, but I am also aware that a natural vaginal delivery is best for both of us. And I am aware that as a parent I need to do things that are difficult for my child's safety.

I am interested in any input!

My biggest physical symptom is pain in my vagina (the muscles just under the skin) which is worse from sitting and better from cold. It feels like congestion of blood, nerves, energy. I think this is "normal" with a breech baby as the bottom is ressing down there.

Hi Carolyn, MUREX 1M sometimes reverses symptoms such as this. You should feel much better after only one dose. Do not take more.

You should be free of any increase in symptoms; only feel relief. If the baby turns, you must be aware this is a noticable activity.

I have checked it in several places.

I know you're nearing the end of your pregnancy...but if you have ever considered homebirth, there are some homebirth midwives who will assist in a breech birth. All 3 of mine have been born breech at home. Being able to get into whatever position I want has been key, as has been not having any drugs. Waterbirth adds safety for breech babies.

Breech statistics can be misleading bc they include preemie babies, who haven't turned bc they're so young gestationally.

Of course its not for everyone but I feel safe bringing up the idea to you bc you seem like you will follow your heart/gut anyway and birth however you and this baby need to birth.

Peace,
Rebecca

P.S. Some do it without a midwife.
