The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Plants Homeopathy

I grow roses, some Asian jasmines and also have a little garden patch. I see discussion about pets. I was thinking if Homeopathy could help in gardening, the alternate is application of strong chemicals. The biggest problem associated with Rose bushes, over here in the US is fungal disease resulting in black spots and powdery mildew. The jasmines and other Asian cultivars go through severe powdery mildew once brought indoors during winter. Can Homeopathy help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Scrap off about a half teaspoon of fungus and place in half water and half vodka in small (boiled or new) 2 oz bottle. Pound (succus)the bottle on your palm. Let set 48 hours in the sun.

Strain through clean hankichief, into small paper or plastic cup. Put a few drops of the mix back into the bottle and empty cup.

(keep this first discard in case you are clumsey and knock things over)

Fill bottle 3/4 way with water and pound bottle on palm. (at least 10 or 15 times).

So the cup is the "holder" and the bottle keeps getting diluted and pounded...succus.

The second go around, pour the bottle into the cup, place a few drops back into the bottle, (discard contents of cup) fill 3/4 way with water and succus. Now it is diluted twice. (actually more because we are not doing 1 part to 9, but less than that. Or more however you view it).

Do this 5 or 6 times and then when the bottle is again 3/4 full, you are ready to put this dilution in a large spray bottle to spray your plants. It won't hurt them, and usually eliminates the fungus. For bugs, another remedy must be made up in the same way. Bugs must be mashed at time of straining.

So this is a mildly diluted and potenized remedy made from the offending fungus and is safe for the plants as homeopathy "reverses" the condition.

You can get new small bottles at pharmacy or health store. If using over like a small baby jar, etc, one must boil.

As this is for plants, boiling is ok, but I NEVER reuse remedy bottles unless the SAME remedy is placed in them again. (not even boiled)

Have fun...let us know.

Blessings, Sabra

There is a book about to be published by the Dutch homoeopath Vailkunthanath das Kaviraj about working with plants and homoeopathy. It is called Homoeopathy For Farm and Farden and has 200 pages and 73 remedies in the materia medica. It also has a repertory.
