Uric Acid

Dear Dr.

My father is suffering by Diabetes and taking allopathic medicines instead of Insulin. He is also suffering from Uric Acid as well and Allopathic medicine Zyloric was in use. But the results are not satisfactory. In recent tests the Range comes to 9 which is too high. I need an expert guidance that Can I use Homeopathy medicine for Uric Acid and Allopathic for the treatment of Diabetes side by side? Is there any side affect of Homeopathy medicine?
Please guide, I am very upset due to the health of my Father.
