Cronic Reflux

I’m a 47 yr old female. I had a complete hysterectomy 13 years ago. I have taken compounded hormones bi-est, progestin, and testosterone, however I moved to an area that it was difficult to get so my OBGY prescribed Vivelle Dot and Prometrium. After about 3 weeks I got a severe burning in my chest which turned into a full blown panic attack. I had heart palpitations, nausea, sweating, and resting pulse rate of 96. I went to ER and several doctors afterwards, and the only thing they found was my cortisone level was up, and obliviously my other hormones (including testosterone) was elevated. Days after, I began having diarrhea, and then came the severe acid reflux. I am very sore right below the sternum, and I have a sour feeling in my neck like along my jugular veins and under my arm pits. I have read some of the forums, but I wanted to post and see if anyone can help or understands anything I’m dealing with to help me understand what is going on and what to do.

I am trying the suggested remedies...but also added (from reading other posts prior to getting your reply) Arnica, Nat Phos, and Mag Phos; which seem to have a good effect so far on the acid reflux.

I note that you have already taken the 2 remedies that I prescribe for GERD which have helped many hundreds perhaps thousands of patients who suffer from GERD and 'which seem to have a good effect so far on the acid reflux.'

Report your progress weekly and it is most likely that you will be OK soon.

Eat small meals, avoid fatty food and exercise regularly. Also drink plenty of water.

Still having mild panic attacks especially at bedtime, for no apparent reason. Wake up very nervous in the morning afterwards. I broke down and took a Zanax last night.

I’m still taking everything as prescribed. Exercising, and drinking plenty of water.

I hope that you are aware of the danger of taking Zanax.

Nat Mur 6x is a Homeopathic remedy that can replace these dangerous drugs and they are very safe in use. Dose 2-3 tablets taken whenever you feel depressed or panicky. Nat Mur is potentized table salt and has a calming effect on the nerves. It is also useful to reduce Blood Pressure and many patients have stopped the drugs prescribed for Hypertension and are using this remedy.

It is possible that your anxiety complex may be the root cause of your GERD which Nat Mur 6x will help.
