Prostrate enlargement and Urine retention

I presume that you have read one of my very old posts where I prescribed the remedy in pellets. I discovered soon after that the remedy in Ethanol was far more potent to help cure the ailment and have since modified my therapy to make the Wet dose as copied below:

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Your remedies for enlarged Prostate are:

Arnica 30c taken twice daily.

Conium 6c taken twice daily.

Please note that you will have to take both remedies for a long period if you wish to reduce the enlargement of your prostate.

You are also advised to have a Blood Test for Lipid Profile and PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) and report your results here on the forum.

I cannot help with your Lipoma but you will soon find that Arnica will help with your ED.

As long as your PSA levels do not rise above 4 you are OK. You are advised however to do an annual PSA test to keep track of developments.

You should discover that the Arnica will help you in many ways and I would appreciate if you will report your progress from time to time here on the ABC.

You can use Bisleri as Evian is loaded with chemicals. Even boiled mains water will do. Boiling releases the chlorine which would antidote the homeopathic remedy.

The Conium will reduce your Prostate and you can compare its size in a year when it should show the reduction in a scan.

Joe - I had been having problems with urine retention for roughly 15 years - lately it had gotten more serious and was having a lot more of a negative impact on my life.
I had tried a lot of home remedies that hadn't helped much - had been to doctors and they just charged a lot of money for doing nothing but making it worse.
I decided a week ago to try your Arnica cure - it seemed to make a difference but not as much or as quickly as I had expected. After several days my stream was much better but still did not last long enough to ' empty out'.
I kept taking it and doubled the amount to a 3 teaspoons ( wet dose ) 3 times a day - that made a BIG difference !
I had been experimenting with DMSO, adding it to a mixture of several supplements and a liquid Vitamin/Mineral supplement - I decided to add the Arnica to that mixture - fantastic results ! I woke up yesterday morning pain free for the first time in many years - and really and truly 'emptying up' during the day !
I am going to add the Conium 6c as soon as I locate a good source to reduce prostate swelling.
Have one question - can I make a wet dose of both the Arnica and Conium and mix them in the same glass container ?
Thanks so much for the information you have so freely supplied Joe - after a lot of pain .... and money, you have enabled me to do what no doctor has been able to do - the information was free and the 'medications' will cost a fraction of the cost of gasoline to go to a doctor !

P.S - Joe - the difference when I started using DMSO was profound and happened literally overnight - however ... I also doubled the dose of Arnica at the same time - perhaps it was the doubling of the dose - perhaps it was the DMSO - not positive, but have had a lot of success with DMSO amd am thinking that made the big difference

I had read somewhere about DMSO or Dimethyl Sulfoxide and decided to read some data on this drug which I note that you are using for your Prostate problems with some success.

I would advise you, in your own interest, that you STOP it immediately for reasons that are listed in the link above.

I do not for one moment subscribe to your presumption that it was the combination of Arnica and the drugs that helped you:

I believe that it was the increased dosage of Arnica which you increased to thrice daily which is OK.

You will discover that the Conium 6c in the Wet dose will also add to your cure as it will shrink your Prostate but this process will take some months and it is essential that you continue to take it twice daily. Stop taking all other drugs, vitamins and mineral supplements and only take the 2 remedies Arnica 30c and Conium 6c both in the Wet dose taken thrice daily for Arnica and twice for Conium

You cannot mix both the Arnica and the Conium together as they must be taken separately leaving about half hour between remedies and it is essential that the bottles be shaken vigorously or succussed prior to each dose.

I would also advice you to consult a Urologist and have a scan done of your enlarged Prostate. It is also essential that you do a blood test for your PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) which should not be over 4. You can also have the same blood tested for Lipid Profile.

You have not indicated your age which is necessary for further treatment.

You have mentioned 'Pain' in your statement. Please clarify.

It is essential that you do a regular stint of exercise daily and you will also drink at least 3 liters of water daily.

I too has the problem of of prostrate enlargement and urine retention. USG has shown prostrate wt 36gms approx ans PVR urine vol approx 80 ml. After seeing your posts, I have started on wet dose of Arnica 30c twice daily prepared as your posts and wet dose of Conium 30C (could not get 6C) once a day. I have prepared wet dose of of Conium by putting 10 drops of its liquid solution in about 90ml of water.
Please advise if wet dose preparation method of conium is correct, if not advise correct method.
Please also advise if any change required in medication.
I am 67 yrs old and have this problem since about a year. I started on Sabal Serugata(10drops of mother tinture in half cup of warm water twice a day. It was effective earlier but now problem relapsed.

You can follow the therapy that I have prescribed to the other patient who reported that his problem was helped but you must get the Conium 6c as the 30c may help but not as well as the 6c.

Take Arnica 30c thrice daily for a month and reduce the dosage to twice daily thereafter.

I note that you have not done a blood test for PSA value and this is essential for you. The normal value is 0-3.5 and I would like to have your report to advise you further.

Please also advise if I should continue taking Sabal Serulata Q as mentioned in my earlier post. I forgot to tell you that I am also taking 10 drops of Populus T Q in half cup of warm water twice daily along with Sabal. Should I continue these in addition to Arnica & conium?
In the mean time I will get my PSA done and advise you further.

I have been taking Conium 6C and Arnica 30C in wet dose thrice a day since 26-11-2011. For first few days there was not much improvement. Then on some days I fell better, less frequent urination, less burning while passing urine, but problem aggravates again.
For example I had full night sleep without the need to get up for pee and no burning on last two nights, but from today morning frequency and burning has gone up.
Is it also to do any thing with water intake and the cold weather?
Please advise if there is any need to revise medication or contitue like this.

Your reaction is quite normal to the 2 remedies till your body is able to get the full benefit of this Joepathy which has helped many patients who had been abandoned by their Urologists, especially those who had undergone TURP surgery.

You have used it for just under a week and have already experienced the curative power of this therapy and this will hopefully continue into the future. Remember the saying that 'Rome was not built in a day'

I note that you are impatient to use a multiplicity of remedies but this is not how I prescribe remedies. There is absolutely no reason whatever to revise my Joepathy.

I noticed that you have used your own guidelines to make the Wet dose by:
'putting 10 drops of its liquid solution in about 90ml of water.'

Please follow my therapy on making the Wet dose which differs from your own interpretation. You can read it in my post of October 18 on this thread.

I am so happy from your encouraging reply. Though whole day yesterday I had to pee frequently but by evening it was much better and last night again I did not get for pee.
I am sorry earlier I used 10 drops in 90 ml, as I felt it was too dilute and may not be effective, but after your last post, I am strictly following your method.
I forgot to tell you that I also suffer from problem of GERD and as per one of your post in similar case, I also started taking Nat Phos 6x 4 tabs three times daily since 28-11. There is good improvement in belching & acid reflex. However mostly the gas passes by belching. I hope there is no conflict in two medication.
I am also having little eczema on both feet and I hope Arnica will cure this also.
Can you please what medicine should be taken for viral fever-fever rising with shivering.

Further to my last post of 3-12-2011, I am reporting current status of my case.
As advised by you I got my PSA done on 8-12-2011 and it is 5.24, somewhat on higher side.
In the mean time I had no problem on 1st,2nd and 3rd night with no getting for pee and almost no burning, good flow and little retention.
However my condition suddenly became acute on 4th morning when I was required to go for passing urine almost every 15 mins. Each time I passed very little urine with lot of burning.
When this condition went on even till afternoon, I had to consult my physician. He advise me to immediately take antibiotic LOXOF 500 mg-one tablet for 5 days, Tablet URISPASS 3 times a day for two days and URIMAX 0.4mg one capsule every night till further.
Since my condition was quite bad, I had to start this medication and I immediately felt relieved.
Now currently I am on both allopathy and homeopathy treatment.
I have been scared by my physician that taking any risk would mean I may have to go for surgery.

However in the mean time I got USG done for prostrate. Last USG was done in January 2011 and result was- weight 36gms, PVR retention 80 ml. Recent USG has shown improvement- now weight was 32gms and PVR retention 25ml.

Mr Joe kindly look into my present status and advise.

Your PSA at 5.24 is not a problem. It is most likely that the 'viral fever-fever rising with shivering.' which you reported in your last post was due to the infection in your Prostate which I diagnosed as Prostatitis.

I cannot understand the reason why your doctor prescribed Loxof 500 as the preferred drug for you is Ciprofloxacin 500 taken twice daily. This is a very safe drug unlike Loxof which is Levofloxacin and which is known to be the cause of various side effects which you can read about on:

Please note that I am only sharing my personal knowledge of Prostate problems as I too suffered from them about 10 years ago and had to undergo a Retropubic Prostatectomy as my Prostate was around 150gm. I am now 83 years old and am completely cured with a PSA of 3.5 as against my previous reading of 35 when my Urologists suspected C ancer which I fortunately did not present.

You may like to know that Prostate C ancer is no more a serious problem as I have some friends who used Manioc or Cassava to cure themselves in a month. One patient 78 years was diagnosed with Prostate C ancer with a PSA of 400+ and he ate Manioc and his PSA dropped down to 4 in a MONTH.

Please be reassured that on the basis of your statistics you will not have to undergo surgery. It is very likely that you can overcome your problem which is most likely Prostatitis which Cipro 500 taken twice daily. You will however have to consult a competent Uro to get a prescription as I am not qualified to do so although I do have the knowledge that your doctor seems to lack.

Continue to take the Homeo remedies I have prescribed and which you are hopefully taking daily and report your progress weekly.

I failed to mention that if you decide to take Cipro 500mg the drug should be taken twice daily for at least 10 days after which your case must be re-evaluated.

Loxof story is over as it was to be taken for 5 days only. Urispass was also taken only for 2 days. Now I am taking only URIMAX, one capsule at every night till further.

I am also continuing the homeopathic i.e. Conium & Arnica.

Please advise if there is any harm in taking both types.
