Corns

These thickenings of the skin, with a central and exquisitely pain¬ful core, are usually due to the pressure of ill-fitting footwear or to faulty posture. Expert advice should be sought in these matters. Corns once formed can be pared, down to and including the hard white central core, with due care not to cause bleeding or invite infection. ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM 6 can be given to encourage softening and allay pain. RUTA ointment can be rubbed in, or VERATRUM VIRIDE mother tincture painted on to reduce surrounding inflammation.
