The ABC Homeopathy Forum

remedy given, question

hello, i bought a remedy from a non-classical homeopath that runs her own pharmacy, said to help with bladder infection. this is the ingredients.
e-coli 12ch
colibacillinum 15ch,30ch,&200ch
staphysagria 15ch, 200ch
berberis vulg. 9 ch

this seems like alot to me! and the dosages are high on a cpl! the directions say 3x a day for 3 days. i took the remedies 3 x total a cpl days in between each on dose/ i thought since these are nodes from specific bacterium it was ok to take, safer than regular remedies like sulphur 200c or something.

was this bad to take? and risks, or unwanted sides to look for? I am also breastfeeding :/ will he be affected? his eczema got significantly better after i took this! but this could be coincidence as i was trying some new things to rid it at the time.
i am having more headaches, body aches, and hard to fall asleep..

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
My opinion would be that it is risky - too many remedies, too many potencies. There would be risks of side effects - it is hard to say. They could also do nothing, or the right remedy could be in the mix by chance. There would be no way to manage your case with all those medicines combined - how do you know which is the right one, how do you know which potency worked, how would you progress in potenices, choose complementaries? What if you had a bad reaction - which one would you blame, how would you antidote? There really is no way to manage a case intelligently with such a muddled prescription.

Nosodes are not safer than other remedies. Every remedy carries some risk with it. Actually nosodes can have some pretty nasty long-term effects if misused.

Side effects are new symptoms, or old symptoms with new features (eg. your normal headaches suddenly change sides or come with nausea now).

no i havent parkaletos! ive been waiting to hear back from you ;-) i just went in to the store to buy some cranberry pills etc for a UTI infection and she said to try this instead, the eczema part for my son was just a fluke... or mayb not related at all. it could be partially... as bacteria are one of the causes for severe inflammation on the skin of eczema. I got his flare up under control now though, it got really bad by itself ... arms covered! moved to chest, back , stomach, legs etc. I have the remedy you asked me to get, we are going to mexico in a few days so i will talk to you when i get back. mayb we should wait to do treatment when a flare up occurs again? or proceed anyways?

also with the bacterium nodes i took, will some camphor or something help stop the effects. my headache is brutal! :(

how long has it been? I usually see proving symptoms or aggravations last no more than a week for most people. Some people may experience them for several months, and a few can get stuck with them for years.

Most people will go back to normal. If not, then a remedy may need to be prescribed which will include the new and your old symptoms.

Bacterium nodes? Can not remember that I told you to take this? Why have you been using this medicine?
