The ABC Homeopathy Forum

autism, apraxia, and aphasia

my son is 3 no speech yet, lots of sounds and he tries very hard to talk. the problems is his tongue movements are slow at best. can not move tongue to left side, cannot lick lips on command. cannot blow candles out on command. after several months of therapy he is starting to get some air out on command. but normally not enough to blow bubbles or a whistle still.
he does have other issues as well like,
large stools,
slow healing wounds,
he clinches his teeth when mad or upset (and sometime for no reason) looks like a seizure.
he makes a weird grin that is a stims of his,
he holds his mouth open alot when excited,
his coordnation is not the best for large movements, like catching a ball. put opens small thing fine,
he has alot of eye stims like looking into lights, and squeezing his eyes shut and looking at thing.

we know apraxia, autism and aphasia are the labels but what to help.
we have bothrops but i dont know if to try it again (more than one dose) or go with Lach.?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
One of my colleagues has had a certain amount of success treating Autistic children. I used to sit in on some of her cases - I have not had any of my own to date. I have treated Ausperger's Syndrome quite successfully though (mild autistic like condition).

I remember a case she had that sounded very similar to your sons - the remedy she used was Bufo.

Hi Smitha,

Please describe the child's behavior and temperament in greater detail. Please tell as to what pleases him in general. What are the things that aggravate him in general ?

Any impact of things like ocean, open air, music, touch, sunlight, pressure, noise, any time of the day on him ?

What are the diseases that run in your family ?

If you can answer the above questions, I can suggest a possible remedy.

Best Wishes,
Sameer

Also, what is his exact age ?

He will be 4 in a month.
As far as the eye stuff.
He leans his head down or at least his chin so he can look thru his eyelashes or from the top of his eyes. He then moves his head up and down right in front of the object or me sometime.
For example lastnight his was sitting in my lap facing me. He tilted his head down and looking out the top of his eyes started moving his head up and down looking at my neck. He moves his head slowely and always perfectly up and down. He also does the weird grin at the same time.
