This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You have referred your case to me by name and I regret to inform you that although I have prescribed Thyroidinum 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily to some patients who were already being treated by their Endocrinologists with Thyroxine, these patients were not able to replace the Thyroxine with the Thyroidinum.

You are advised to continue with the drugs that your doctors have prescribe for you. It is important to continue with the drug throughout your life and its long term use does not seem to hinder the patient in any way even through pregnancy.

It is important that you have a Blood Test to check your Thyroid TSH levels at least yearly.

It is possible that your loss of weight is due to your Thyroid deficiency.

I am not qualified to advice you on the treatment of your Thyroid condition but judging by the TSH level you have indicate of 0.726 you do not suffer from any problem associated with your Thyroid gland.

You are advised to consult a competent Endocrinologist and if possible report his diagnosis here on the ABC.

You have not indicated if you are M or F and the reason why you are concerned that your weight loss is connected to your Thyroid.

I have already explained to you in my last post that you do NOT suffer from any Thyroid problem based on your TSH level of 0.726.

I repeat again that you should not take any drug or homeopathic remedy for some problem that you do not suffer from.

To Nilanthi

I do wish that I can meet you in person to figure out the reason why you are so very apprehensive of suffering from some disease which you do not already suffer from and wish to take preventive action to avoid catching it.

You first reported a Thyroid problem but your TSH levels confirmed that you do not have any problem.

You now wish to take a remedy for Menopause which at 45 years may be some more years into the future. Do not worry about your health in this manner as you can make your own life miserable and also make others to suffer unnecessarily.

If you wish to reduce your weight, you can take:

Nat Phos 6x Dose 2 tablets taken twice daily after meals. You can expect a reduction of your weight by about 1kg weekly.

Another remedy that I can prescribe for you which will also help with your menopause is:

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken just once nightly.

You must of course also cooperate by not eating large meals and by exercising on a regular daily basis.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done at least 6 times before sipping a capful of the bottle as prescribed.
