Bad cough after croup in 2 yr old

Hi,

My 2 yr old son had an ear infection with no signs of cold or anything. He was put on antibiotic(Amoxcylin). 2 days after that he stopped complaining of ear pain and started gettting a croupy cough and stridor. I tried Aconite and Spongia and he got better after 24 hours. Now he has a nasty cough and he coughs so hard especially while eating that he almost throws up. Also, the cough is now all the time i.e. day time and night time. He has a snoring sound while sleeping that makes me think he has nasal congestion and is also sneezing a lot. There is no running nose. I have been giving him Bio combination 6 - 3 times a day. Pls suggest some remedy to give him some relief.
