Treatment for Hypothyroid...Please help!!

Hi,

I'm 32 yr old female. Height: 155cm, Weight: 56 kg. Married for last 14 years. 2 daughters aged 12 & 6.
I've been recently detected with hypothyroid.
On 16th Nov, in the first test, the T3 &T4 levels were normal - FT3 3.1 pg/ml & FT4 0.84 ng/dl, but the TSH levels were high - 11.1. I was very surprised & repeated the test on 23rd Nov. Now T3 is 0.89 nmol/l & T4 is 43.44 nmol/l, which is low according to the normal range. TSH has increased quite drastically to 23.88.

I have no major symptoms. The only symptoms i feel can be correlated to hypothyroid are: sensitivity to cold, i cant tolerate cold & wear a jacket while in office because of the AC. I've always had a tendency towards sore throat & since past 15 - 18 years i avoid drinking cold water (fridge). during summers i drink water at room temperature & winters i drink warm water.
i have severe headaches (migraine). They started while i was still in school, class 10th or so & have worsened after delivering my second daughter. These days, usually i have a severe headache just before my period is about start. This time the headache lasted for 5 days during which i was on pain killers, & receded the day my period started.
The pain is usually one sided - it could be either left or right. Sometimes a particularly severe attack starts from the middle of the head (towards forehead) & then it travels down to either side. When its severe, its accompanied by vomiting.
It starts from the base of my neck/ shoulder onwards & the area around the spinal joint between the head & neck becomes tender & painful. Massage of specific painful points gives relief & i usually apply an analgesic gel during this time.

i have changed my job in Feb this year & these days the work load is huge & hence there could be some subconscious stress related to it.
i feel i'm an over responsible person & tend to take my responsibilities too seriously. i'm otherwise happy with the work that i'm doing.
I also tend to bottle up my emotions & words. Its also probably because of an over dominating spouse who's otherwise caring but extremely harshly spoken.
I'm fairly physically active (though not immensely regular with exercise) but have good stamina.
I'm a pleasant natured person.

The doctor told me that 8 out of 10 people living in Noida are suffering from thyroid. Can it be due to the water?
i'm not starting on allopathic medicine as i've been told that its a lifelong medicine & the dosage will be adjusted according to my TSH levels.
i hope i can find a permanent cure in homeopathy as i feel i'm too young to be on lifelong medicines!

Please Help!!!

Thanks
Pooja
