Soaking in Barley water and Vit E

Hi - Someone told me this mornibg atht if you filled your bath ful of luke warm water and put raw barley in a net and in2 the bath with you the Barley is wonderful for ezcema - is this true? aslo Vit E - am going to spain inmay and it will be hot can i take a strong diosage of thsi is prevent heat rash when i egt there as its a common factor for me and hol's abroad.

not sure about barley but I know that doing the same thing (in a bath) with oats in a sock/stocking is very helpful with eczema.
Also not sure about the vitamin E as regards heat rash but vit E is very good for the circulation - the only caution with high doses is that if you have a heart or blood pressure problems you should start with a low dose of Vit E and build up slowly, not take megadoses initially.

I would choose organic oats - don't think it matters whether porridge or other...perhaps there is some more info on the internet about this that would be more precise - I would try and look up 'porridge socks' or 'oat socks' recipes for eczema and see what comes up..:)
