hospital psychosis/sundowner syndrome

My (elderly) folks have problems when they are in the hospital after a surgical procedure. They have trouble interpreting their surroundings and processing the noises and intent of people, which turns into extreme fear and agitation, and conspiracy theories that are very real to them. Once it sets it, it does not abate quickly; evenings and night time are terribly difficult, daytimes are a bit better. One parent is going through a particularly bad instance of this right now.

I know that this will run it's course, but I also know that, deep down, a little bit of that fear stays with them always, even after they have recovered from the surgery and are home.

How often should the Arnica 200c be repeated? My mother is suffering from the same thing.
