Toe Infection

I suffer long term from peripheral neuropathy and now have a big toe infection which has been going on for 5 months. Very red, swollen and painful. The toe nail has stopped growing and is loose but still attached.Podiatrist says there is an ulcerated area under the nail and I await toe nail surgery. Swab diagnosed anaerobic bacterial infection. Was given antibiotic Metronidazole 400mg for two weeks but that has worsened the neuropathy symptons and hasn't touched the infection. Got second opinion from another doctor who said stop antibiotics immediately, they can cause neuropathy.Which homeopathic remedy could help please? Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take five doses of Silicea 200 as follows and report back after 5 days.

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

day 2 evening
4th dose

day 3 morning
5th dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
