Newbie questions...

Hi, this is really not for me, but for my mom and my uncle...I take homeopathic medicines and so does my mom and my family. I'm new to ABCH, so please forgive any stupidity. :) First, my mom is about 53 or something and has been diagnosed with Osteoporosis. She's already taking something called Evista and Calcium, but I was wondering if there is really some homeopathic medicine she can take. I know about Calc. Phos. and Calc. Carb., but arent' those basically Calcium Phosphate and Calcium Carbonate, the store-bought stuff? Second, for my uncle...he has eczema, and yellow-ish fingernails. Any medicine for that? I have a homeopathic remedy book, but it's really not that clear. Thanks a lot for anyone's reply!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I think I've found matches. I guess I didn't search right here! See what I mean by stupid? Lol. Well, your site rocks! :D

Um, another question...I found that Asa Foetida is really good for a lot of things. But how much of a dose do you take? (this is for osteoporosis/bone softening)

Of course it is not clear, you don't know how to "think" in homeopathic terms.

The substance that a remedy is made from acts entirely different made up in homeopathic form than the original use of the substance.

For example: Natural arsnic is poisonous. Made up homeopathically, one can eat the whole bottle and suffer no ill effects.

So, you are having fun reading and getting nowhere.

We do not treat a "part" Homeopathy treats the whole person. Haven't you read around on other postings to learn how they are writing to give us something to go on?

Blessings, Sabra
