The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Hypothyroid, metabolism support, weight loss.

I have been taking Calcarea Carbonite, Arsenicum Album, and Silicea for about 3 months, to keep me from going on anger fits and being extremely emotional.
I also take supplements of vit-e, vit-b complex, zinc, vit-a, curcumin, evening primrose oil, and vit-c.

I was recently pregnant, which the baby was still-born, and I had a problem keeping my weight stable after that, I gained 40 lbs, and I haven't been able to lose it.

I eat well, my husband is gluten-free, all organic, and he and I eat well balanced meals with all the food groups, and what his homeopathic doctor says he needs. I usually eat what he does, but in much smaller portions.

I just started cutting out carbohydrates, and resetting my metabolic rate, but nothing has worked.

I wasn't sure if there was remedies to help me get back to a normal weight, or if there is a special diet plan for hypothyroidism. But I can't take this anymore.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,
TheUzume

Of the homeopathic medicines you mentioned, what are you on at the moment? You should not use more than one remedy at a time, and you should not be using them so often. You should stop the remedies until a correct perscription is made.

What has your response been to each of these remedies?

How do you feel about your loved ones?

What are your hobbies and interests? What is your work? What is your day like?

Please describe your emotions much more. Give as much detail as possible.

You say that you talk to yourself. Please describe as much as possible?

Lol, I take all three each day, otherwise i'm really not pleasant to be around. My husband has taken multiple remedies at a time for his ms that his homeopathic doctor told him to take, so I figured as long as they didn't have bad mixing reactions I would be fine.

There is no response for each remedies, I'm just not right, I'm mean, and accusing, and I just not happy with anything.

My mother-in-law is annoying, she took care of us in our time of need, but she just doesn't look at like positively and she makes me feel depressed to be around her.

My husband is everything I know and love, he treats me with love and respect, but he's lazy.

My dad who raised me single handedly, I moved away From a year ago from Arizona. I miss him but i just feel bad when I tlk to him because he doesn't have anything but me and video games.

I play world of Warcraft, and xbox 360. I wake up at around 1-2pm check if I have work. If I don't, I just spend my day with my husband. I just took over my mother-in-laws work, which is stay at home data imput. Because she is in nursing school. when I work, I'm typing for 7 hours at a time with just bathroom breaks.

My emotions are hard to describe. When I wake up i just want to do nothing, I get easily agrivated (before my pregnancy it was sadness) and I get really really mad, black out, I'll try to beat on my spouse. Otherwise I just feel worthless, that I don't do anything right.

I did it more when I was a child. When I'm upset I'll talk to myself to make sense why anything isn't my fault. When I'm playing games I talk to myself in what I have to do to progress.

One reason for this discomfort is that you've probably overdosed on the homeopathic remedies. You've got far too much of them in your system and you should stop immediately. The Silicea and Arsenicum are absolutely wrong in your case.

Real homeopathy only uses one medicine at a time.

For starters, let's try a single dose of Calcicum-Carbonica 30c.

Just put one pellet of this in a container of 10oz pure water. Let the pellet dissolve and then drink two tablespoons of this. Let's give that a test.

Thank you, I'll try it. And report back in a few day. Though I have to explain the emotions I described was when I'm not taking the remedies.

Otherwise I'm happy full of life and looking forward to the future. I'm not having problems with my emotions, I'm having problems with my metabolism, sensitivity to light, my body pains, and the inability to eat.

I know Calc carb will help my mood but it's not helping my body state.

EnnobleUzume last decade
Your mood and body state are both part of you. Homeopathy treats the whole patient as one.

If Calc-C is the correct remedy, then it will move your whole system (not just physical or mental) back into balance.

When did you begin these remedies? How long have you been using them in this way? Did you start with Calc?

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
I've used the remedies for about 3 months. I have taken Calc carb for exsema before, and I was still the same with my mood pre taking all the remedies together. When I started taking the silicea, ars, and Calc together I started with 2 pellets each under the tongue, then 4 because two didn't work, then 6 which steadied me out and I was finally okay.

HI 1

You should also consider Phosphorus here, may be later.

Best Regards.

Phos doesn't seem to cover everything that Calc does. I can't wait for my consult in June. But the c helps a lot since my body can't absorb vit-c at all it seams.

EnnobleUzume last decade
Tell us your response to the first use of Calc. by itself.

You will not need the Ars. or Sil. anymore.

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
I took Calc carb by itself today, it was okay but I felt a little uneasy. Usually without the remedies I have a hard time driving. I did a little bit. I just want to feel normal, but I didn't . Thank you,

TheUzume

EnnobleUzume last decade
What do you mean uneasy? Why do you have an uneasy time driving?

Do you feel that you are not getting enough of the Calc-C 30c? Do you want to use more or less of it? What are your feelings about that?
