Lower back pain

Hello ,
I am 32 yr old female and having a severe pain in my lower back. It all started after my first delivery where I took epidural. I took the same for my second delivery too. As days goes by, its getting worse than before. I cannot sit for a long time or walk or stand for a long time. When I asked my primary physician, she told me not to remain in the same place and asked me to keep on moving and changing the position. Also she asked me to take some pain killers or keep some heat patch. Even though I take pain killers , the pain goes for a while and again returns.
Can someone please advice me on this issue.
Thanks.
