Re: Pulsatilla for persistent acne?

Hi there,

I posted on to this forum on 11th Jan but my original post seems to have disappeared and I'm quite desparate to find a remedy for my acne. I've had it ever since a teenager and now I still have it along my jaw line and neck. From reading a bit around Pulsatilla I think it might help but I'd like some professional advice.

Please see my patient intake form below:-

Hi Niel,

I took Phos and Thuja in August and September last year 2010, followed by Strammonium in October. Tuberculinum last Feb 2010. Staphysagria in December 2010. Arsenicum and Phos were used for kidney infection in May 2010.

I tried Hepar Sulph recently a couple of weeks ago for acne but with no joy.

Thanks,

Zoe

The feeling of disconnection from self isn't easy to describe but I think it could stem from pre-natal issues. I'm the first born in my family and my mother was very frightened of giving birth. She had a lot of fear and anxiety when she was pregnant with me and started bleeding heavily when she was 7 months pregnant with me and had to take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy.

It feels like I inherited a lot of fear from my mother en utero. Stramonium has helped some of this free floating anxiety and feeling of being split. I do still suffer from a sensation that i'm detatched from myself in some way though and it feels like I can't breathe in to my own spirit. Sometimes when I sleep my breath slows down so much that I wonder if I actually stop breathing, wake up feeling exhausted. Part of my feels dead but its different from depression, it feels as if I almost died in the womb but pulled through somehow.
