The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Joe De Livera, please help me

Dear Jo, I've been reading about Jeopathy and I know that it is the only hope for me. I don't know how this forum will work, but I so desperately need your kind guidance. I suffer from GERD from 2002, I had Watson fundaplication in 2005 but still have the same problem. I started NatPhos6x on 7 December 2010. I bought Arnica 6c in ethanol but it doesn't say how I should use it? I'm making a desperate attempt to find you and ask you to help me. My GP keeps prescribing me allopathic remedies over the years, but that doesn't make any difference. I was doing ok on NatPhos6x when I started on December the 7th(4 tablets 3 times a day after meals), but I had reflux symtoms and had to go back to omeprazole on the 17,18, 19 December.I had severe headache and sickness as a result. I had to stop taking it and went back to NatPhos My GP wouldn't refer me to Royal Homeopathic Hospital in London, he put me on Nizatadine which I used to take years ago, it helped me a bit, but I still keep waking up at night.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I shall copy my standard response to patients who present GERD from which ailment you suffer from today. It is very likely that the reason for your Reflux is due to the gastric juice eroding the delicate inner lining of your Esophagus which Arnica will slowly rebuild.

I must admit that modern medicine does not seem to have the equivalent of these 2 remedies Nat Phos and Arnica to help patients like you. You can consider yourself fortunate that you chanced upon this ABC forum and I shall be interersted to learn how you identified me and my 'Joepathy' as being the path to your salvation.

It is very likely that you are suffering from GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux disease) and I shall copy the therapy I have prescribed to hundreds of patients who presented GERD, the large majority of whom have been cured.

Your remedies are as follows:

Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.

You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry. It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.

No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Please visit the links below which record the cases of other patients whom I have treated for GERD.

Dear Jo, thank you for your prompt response. Browsing this forum I learnt that some people were cured of their sypthoms completely and it was in 2004 or so and you were 77. So I was afraid that I might not find you there and as you said, I am fortunate and really blessed that you have heard my desperate call. I like the way you come to the resque of your patients, how you follow their progress and so many reporting improvement.Like some of your patients I had Barrets esophagus,I was cleared of it by miracle after my pilgrimage to Jerusalem. As my history is complicated, I have a question: is my artificial sphincter created by Watson fundaplication going to prevent any healing process by taking NP+Arnica course? Last night I diluted 3 drops of Arnica 6c in 500 ml of water and took it before going to bed around 3.30am (I had 2 tablets after dinner, followed by tea and pudding+ 2 NP6x in about an hour)Is it ok to carry on with my Arnica 6c 3drops in water, or is it best to get Arnica 30c? I had a reasonable sleep till 8.30am without waking up:I didn't feel any burning only a sour taste in mymouth as usual? I stopped my nizatadine which helped me a bit, but I know its side effects. I have faith in Jeopathy and with your help, God willing I will fight for recovery. Sargy

Dear Joe,

I'm sorry for wrong spelling of your name and therapy: being a sibirien, I don't have a natural feel for names and my writing is always full of spelling mistakes.

Thank you for your words of appreciation of my involvement on the ABC. It is good to know that you live in Siberia and although English is not your first language you do not have any problem to write it in a manner that is very acceptable. I am also very interested to learn that you were cured of your Barrett's Esophagus in Jerusalem.

You have asked me a question:
'I have a question: is my artificial sphincter created by Watson fundaplication going to prevent any healing process by taking NP+Arnica course?'

I believe that your problem first started as GERD (Gastro Eslphagal Reflux Disease) which later developed into a Hiatus Hernia which was surgically corrected. If you had used my default therapy for your GERD when you first discovered that burning sensation after dinner which can be very severe in some patients and used Nat Phos and Arnica you would most likely not have had to resort to any surgery as your problem would have been addressed at source by preventing the flow of excess gastric juice and HCl into your stomach due to the dinner you ate not digesting and later refluxing up your Esophagus into your throat.

Nat Phos 6x has the ability to propel the food down into the gut quickly and by accelerating the passage downwards, it also has the ability of reducing weight by about 1kg per week.

I shall copy my default therapy for GERD and you are advised to follow it precisely as prescribed:

Your remedies are as follows:

Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.

You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry.

Dear Joe,
thank you for giving me a lot of your precious time, describing everything in detail and for your kind words. Actually, I live in Englad with my partner and younger daughter, 19. My husband was an English space scientist, whom I met when I was doing PhD in Moscow. He died of brain tumor in 1999.
As you instructed, I stopped Axid 150mg on January 15 and started on what I already had: NP6x and Arnica 6c. I managed to get hold of Arnica 30c in London on January 19 and made a solution of 3 drops in less than 500ml spring water(its funny, that the dropper kept sending 4 drops instead of three, so in the end I just had to top up the amount of water a bit. I've been having 3 tablets of NP after breakfast and dinner, Arnica 30c before going to bed and first thing in the morning when I wake up. I was sleeping better, only woke up couple of nights, still have bitter taste in my mouth in the mornings. I had bad reflux last night, waking up 3 or 4 times and even had to take a sip of Gaviscon. I had grilled lean rump stake, left from the night before with steamed broccorli, mushrooms and potato.I have my tea and pudding an hour after the meal, so I was taking NP tablets after tea+pudding and not straight after main meal/dinner around 7.30 pm followed by pudding (weight watchers carrot cake+few low fat buiscuits or/and yogurt covered raisins ) 2-3 cups of tea. I have craving for something sweet. Perhaps I could have 2 tablets after dinner and 2 tablets after pudding+tea, making it 4 tablets in the evening. I stay up for about 2-3 hours after dinner watching TV/reading etc. I actually wasn't diagnosed a Hiatus Hernia.I had Helicobacter Pillory 15.07.2002
Anthral Gastritis 21.08.2002
Chronic sub atrophied gastritis 14.10. 2002. I was cleared of Helicobacter Pylori: Negative test in 26.11.2002. I was diagnosed Reflux oesophagitis 1st degree, mixed gastritis, dismotility of oesophagus, cardia/pylories gaping open in 24.02.2004. And in 01/09/2004 Oesophageal Manometry report. SEVERE REFLUX
Oesophageal body: Distal oesophageal amplitude: 32 mm HG, duration of a contraction 3 sec. Lower oesophageal sphincter: pressure 8.5 mm Hg
Relaxation: complete (resid.0.5mmHg). 4/10 failed water swallows Conclusions30.11.2005 a Poor quality peristalsis. A Watson laparascopic fundoplication was carried out in 30.11.2005. I hope that this rather long history would give you a better picture of my case. Yes, I wish I would have found you before the operation. Kind regards,
Sargy

Dear Joe,

I can now tell you that Joepathy works! I'm off antacid since 15th January. I'm on NP6x+Arnica30c only. After February the 19th and 20th indulgence (roast lamb+2 glasses of red wine; lasagne) within the next 10 days I had 3 episodes of reflux and 4 events of some pain under my left rib. On the 25th February I went to see the GP and he refered me to gastroscopy (he also said it could be my heart). I haven't had wine since the 1st of March because lent would carry on till the 24 of April. It is now a month that I'm nearly free of bad reflux, only occasional reflux depending on the diet.(red kidney beans, cheese sauce, sometimes brassicas). Gastroscopy report, 10th March:
Indications: Dyspepsia and Odynophasia.
Report:Apparent mucosal junction at 40cm from the incisors.
Diagnoses: Oesophagus. Lax hiatus - little evidence of previous fundoplication.
Duodenum. Normal.
Advice: No real resolution from Watson anterior fundaplication. Little evidence of a wrap today. No other pathology exept for fine antral gastriris.
Dear Joe, the surgeon offered me another surgery, whereas the previous pH manometry report of February 2009 shows high pressure zone in the region of the lower oesophageal sphincter, which is in keeping with an effective fundoplication. The previous surgeon suspected that I had a sensitive oesophagus. The thing is, I wake up at night, sometimes with burning sensation at my sternum and have a bitter taste in my mouth nearly every morning. What should I do? I don't want another operation. I just want to carry on with your prescription. But how long should I carry on? Perhaps I could reduce it to 2 tablets twice a day since I want to lose more weight? The only complaint is - dry mouth. Perhaps it was because I have it on my tongue? And also I was having it not straight after the meals (sorry!).I also want to assure you that I'm not an alcoholic, I used to have no more than 2 glasses of red wine. I can completely give it up, but unfortunately its not just wine that triggers reflux. Dear Joe, thank you so much for your help : I feel nearly normal again!
