Loose Motion and Reflux in 9 months old baby

Hi,
My son is 9 months 10 days old. Since last 2 weeks his motion has altered and he is also having vomiting .He is having loose motions 5-6 times a day. His motions are watery and sometime mucus filled. We have had his stool test done for which no puse cells or blood found.
On Our doctor's suggestion we gave him Junior Lanzol and Domstal After 3-4 days his motions came to normal so we stopped giving junior Lanzol. But he continued to having Vomiting. For which doctor suggested to continue with Junior Lanzol and Emeset syrup.I gave him Emeset for once and since that day his loose motions have started again. Kindly Help. For loose motion doctor says bacterial infection and for vomit she says 80% its reflux. I would also like to tell about his vomit. He does not take bottle so we feed him with spoon. After his feed when he burps a sudden sound comes and with that food come to his mouth which he swallows again. And sometimes he makes his mouth as if he is about to vomit then he makes a big sound and throws up little food. Sometimes all food comes out.

Currently, I am continuing with Junior Lanzol. I was afraid of Emeset so I did not give him that.
He also takes Osteo Calcium Syrup. I have stopped that on motion alteration.
Please suggest my son is already on lower side of weight and due to all this he diet has also gone down.

I read your post addressed to me but I shall await your report of your boy's response to the remedies prescribed by Todserver.

In the meanwhile do not give him any PPI drugs as they have been proved to do more harm than good.

To give them to a child is just criminal. The medical profession are not aware of the obvious remedy to be used which is Nat Phos 6x and Arnica 30c which you can order but keep till I instruct you if it is necessafy to use it after I read your son's response to the other remedies prescribed.

The two remedies that you will require are

Nat Phos 6x Biochemic Cell Salt Tablets 50 Tabs

Arnica 30c in the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol.

Thank you for your response Dr. Joe.I stay in Noida(India). And new to here that I do not know many good places to buy homeopathic medicines.
I will buy these two medicines. Till now i have not given him these. just one update that his reflux seems to be improving after stopping Junior lanzol, but he is suffering from loose motions. As per his diet is concerned, i give him animal milk(I feed him in night beacuse i am working). He eats pulse+rice in semi liquid form and baby food.
I also give him banana+ milk.
After his motions i have switched to formula milk.

Please reply that these medicine will help in loose motions as well. Also the dose and method of giving.

The Nat Phos should hopefully stabilize the baby's diarrhoea.

You can also give him half a teaspoonful of yogurt as it introduces the bacteria into the gut which are needed to settle this problem.

Thank you Dr. Joe. Please advice dose as well . I have bought Nat Phos 6X medicine and arnica 30 c .

After seeing here and there on this forum i have give him first dose few mins back... 2 tabs of natphos after his breakfast. I do not have any idea if it is suited for my baby. Please suggest dosage and administartion.

2 tablets of Nat Phos 6x is not recommended for a 9 month old baby. Just 1 tablet should suffice.

You can give him a capful of Arnica in the Wet dose twice daily.

Remember the yogurt.

My apologies for not responding to your post of January 28 as I did not get the email alert due to some problem with the software used on the ABC.

I note that you have given him 2 tablets of Nat Phos again and you will note that I clearly warned you NOT TO DO SO and suggested 1 tablet instead. You can also give him a teaspoonful of Arnica twice daily and report his response.

Glad to note that he seems to have stabilized with the overdose of NP and his vomiting may be due to overfeeding him. You can give him less food but more often. Also give him water but in controlled quantities.

Your son has improved considerably since you first posted his case on January 25 and you are fortunate that I took his case and requested you to STOP giving him the Lanzol which is a PPI drug and can be considered as not suitable for the treatment of GERD both in adults and especially in babies.
