Start of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hi Everyone,

First of all thanks everyone for helping people to be relieved from the problems!!

I am looking for help on Rheumatoid to my wife. She is 32, staying in South UK, bit allergic to pollans, cold is very frequent. All female biology is upto the mark, no problems at all.

EATING & daily activities: Eats everything, more rely on fruits, timely 3-4 times meal a day, vegetarian, no eggs even. Loves cooking. takes plenty of water. Likes luke warm.

Very social, having good friends. Having 2 kids and busy with them most of the time. Likes sleeping, takes good sleep and no issues in that.

PROBLEM: Pain started in left hand since last 2 months, not able to lift it high, fingers and parm is painful. Pressing makes the pain worst. Feel the pain much in night while going to sleep. Her mother had severe Rheumatoid.

Please suggest any remedy OR let me know if you need any more information.

Dear tarchei,

As you know Homeopathic remedies are prescribed by symptoms rather than conditions, as each case of a particular illness can manifest differently in different people.

Please fill out the homeopathic intake form for new patients. The more information you can give us, the more accurate our homeopathic recommendations can be. Hopefully someone here will help you begin real homeopathic treatment to resolve your issues.

Had she been writing by herself, things would have been much better and different.

She must take Long Acting Penicillin daily prescribed by a doctor for a long period like 4-6 months to ensure that her joints, Kidneys and Heart are not affected by the Beta Hemolyticus Streptococcus which has caused her RA.

Homeopathy cannot help her.

Please do not delude patients if you do not know your facts.

Beta Hemolyiticus Streptoccus Bacteria (BHS) usually triggers the Auto immune response of the body to attack the two organs listed and the joints unless the cause which is the bacteria is eliminated by Penicillin ASAP.

The Rheumatic fever that results from the infection which is usually occurs after an untreated cough, is the last stage of the disease when it is usually very difficult to cure.

It is essential that the simple swab test is done to check for the BHS before the patient's disease turns chronic when it can be easily cured with the Penicillin.

I repeat again that no Homeopathic remedy can possibly help the patient.

I again say that rheumatic fever and rheumatoid arthritis are two different disease. Rheumatic fever is systemic immune process that is sequela to B-Hemolytic streptococci infection of the pharynx which commence two to three weeks after infection is in acute disease and not occur after untreated cough and not the last stage of the disease. the diagnostic criteria by jones updated in 1992 is as under.
presences of two major criteria or one major and two minor criteria establishes the diagnosis .
Major criteria.
1 cordites
2 erythema marginatum
3 sydenham chorea
4 polyarthritis.
Minor criteria
these include fever polyathralgia prolongation of P/R interval elevated ESR+CRP positive throat culture For BHS and elevated A.S.O titre.
Treatment of Rheumatic fever /RHD is(1). silicylates/ Asprin (2) penicillin 3 corticosteroid .
to prevent further attacks and damage to heart long acting penicillin is required .
Rheumatoid Arthritis
it is a chronic systemic inflammatory /auto immune disease whos major manifestation is synovites of multiple joints. It has a prevalence of one percent and is more common in women than men (female/male ratio 3:1) it begins at any age but the peak onset is the fourth or fifth decade for women and 6th to 8th decade for men .
The cause is not known as compared to R/fever which is caused by BHS .
susceptibility to RA is genetically determined with multiple gens
contributing .inheritance of class II HLA molecule with distinctive five amino acid sequences as the 'shared epitope' is the best characterized genetic risk factor. Untreated RA causes joint destruction with consequent disability and shortness of life expectancy . Rheumatic Fever dose not cause joint destructions instead involves Heart valves with subsequent stenosis and congestive heart failure .Early aggressive treatment is now the standard of care by DMARDS+NSAIDs for RA where as long acting penicillin are required for rheumatic fever to prevent further attacks by BHS in addition to aggressive treatment by short acting penicillin Steroids + Aspirin in the acute attack.
i do not dleude patients on the basis of my knowledge but you should think about your knowledge as you misguide them and advise penicillin for Rheumatoid Arthritis instead of rheumatic fever ,please consult standard text books of medicine if you are still in doubt.
