Brisbanehomeopath| please advice

Hi,
Currently I am taking homeopathic treatment for
hypothyroidism from last four months. Before starting the
treatment my tsh was 8.99 and t3, t4 were normal. After
first month it became 6.34. After 2nd month it became
8.25. Then after 3rd month it became 8.89.
Now my doctor is saying me to start allopathic treatment
alongwith homeopathy. Should I start allopathic treatment
alongwith homeopathic? Is this right advice? If I start
allopathy, will I have to take that the whole life?
Please note i am improving in other terms like sleep, mood, thinking etc.
Please give me advice..

What treatment are they suggesting? Is your health at risk if you don't start taking it? What is your homoeopath's opinion of starting orthodox drug treatment now?

I do not feel comfortable giving advice about a case I am not handling. I do not know if you are on the right remedy - knowing that would help determine how safe it is to wait. How much to you trust your homoeopath?

My doctor is suggesting allopathic treatment alongwith since my tsh is almost same from last 4 months irrespective of homeopathic treatment.
but I had improved in other factors like abdominal problems, mood, thinking etc. That's why I am asking is this right advice? or he is not giving me the right remedy?
I know alone TSH can't be predicted for progress.

So is your doctor also a homoeopath?

My doctor is only a homeopath. He is suggesting allopathic alongwith homeopathic just because my tsh is same almost for last 4 months.

I want to tell you that only after 1st month treatment my tsh goes down to 6.34 when i also took vitamin
supplement alongwith homeopathy which I didn't take in 2nd and 3rd month
treatment. Did vitamin supplement also affected my tsh during 1st month? Is
it safe to take same with homeopathy? Should I start vitamin supplement again?

Ah ok so your homoeopath is not a doctor then.

Why is he suggesting Allopathic treatment - does he believe you are incurable with homoeopathy? What is his experience with hypothyroidism and with the prescription of drugs for it?

There are some potential dangers with allowing hypothyroidism progress too far unchecked. Is your homoeopath qualified and experienced enough to recognize these dangers? This would allow him to judge how best to proceed - if there is no danger then the correct homoeopathic medicine should be found.

The problem with starting thyroid hormone treatments is A. it will be harder to see if you are on the correct homoeopathic and B. there are a lot of side effects with medications like Thyroxine.

We judge the suitability of our medicines by the general improvements in the beginning, and then the specific improvements in the pathology as time goes on. If your homoeopath does not feel confident enough to pursue homoeopathy alone perhaps you should find someone who can.

In the end it is your health, your life - you need to make up your own mind. Once you start the medication it will be extraordinarily difficult to get off it. Whatever choice you make needs to be the one you are most comfortable with.

My homeopath is having 14 yrs of clinical experience and has done BHMS and DIHom.

But he never gives prescription of medicines to patients. I asked him many times but he refused to give me. I don't know why homeopathic doctors don't give prescription.
