Dr. Nawaz/ Dr. Neil Madhavan could you please help?
Dear Doctors,One of my nephew, when he was around 3 yrs old, had accidentally broken a thermometer inside his mouth while taking temperature. Immediately, his mouth was washed thoroughly and they found no glass pieces or mercury in the mouth. They did not know it was dangerous so they did not seek any medical help at that time. He is doing fine. Now he is 5 yrs. He started having severe cough since last year, had to be nebulized once for breathing difficulty, had convulsions once he had high fever. He has aggressive behavior sometimes. Otherwise, he is a sensible, sensitive, intelligent boy. Now we are worried is this all because of mercury poisoning? Should he needed to be tested for mercury poisoning? if so, what tests? Are there any treatments for mercury poisoning in homeopathy.

Also, what is really happening right now mentally and physically?
Please shed more light on aggressive behavior?
What remedies is the child taking right now?
Please don't worry as the current symptoms do not appear to be from mercury poisoning, but, for your satisfaction, you may go for the test with the local doctor/hospital.

Usually a urine test, local doctor will tell you about the tests.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Sorry for my late response as I had to collect few informations regarding my nephew.
Following are the ans to your queries:
Regarding your nephew, please explain the accident, what really happend 2 years ago? Did he bite/chew on the thermometer?
**** He bit the thermometer accidentally while takin temp. But immdtly we washed his mouth.

*****No pain, itching or other complaints after the accident. He got scared for few minutes, then was pretty normal.
Also, what is really happening right now mentally and physically?
Please shed more light on aggressive behavior?
******We feel he is underweight, he is 15 kg, 5 yrs now. But, he is very active.
He developed severe allergic cough (?) and lung congestion for almost 6 months during 2009-2010. Had to be nebulized. Treated continuously with homeopathy. Even, this year, he had cough during the same period (November-January) but not so severe like last time. Treated only with homeopathy. He also had a trace of typhoid, but recovered well soon.
He beats his sister whenever he is beaten by someone at his class. He does not fight them back. He keeps quiet and shows his anger and frustration on his mother and sister.
Gets angered easily. Very sensitive.
What remedies is the child taking right now?
******Right now no meds except Five phos, started 2 days back.

Please stop Five Phos immediately. This will really impact child's health.
You must give him the following remedy asap.
Staphysagria 200C, 4 pills/drops nicely dissolved in 1/4 cup of mineral water with a spoon, ONLY one dose.
Report progress in a couple of days.
