The ABC Homeopathy Forum

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Aversion to family members or Aversion to loved ones is one way of translating it.
Hatred and revenge would be another rubric that might fight.
Dwells on past disagreeable circumstances is a third way.
There would be other interpretations too, depending on the rest of the case and the way the patient expresses the issue.
If the parents did something to deserve such hatred (such as violently or sexually abusing the patient) I would not be inclined to use it as a symptom, as this is not pecuilar or unexpected.

That is part of your environment, not part of your state (and therefore remedy). Every child growing up with controlling parents does not need the same remedy. How they react to that control, that will more likely lead you to a remedy.

How a remedy is found varies from case to case - 'hatred' might be a better path to take in the quest to find the remedy, but who knows if it would actually lead you there?
Some emotions have very few distinguising features and do not help in narrowing down remedy choice, and just like physical symptoms with no modalities or sensations they can be almost useless for choosing remedies.

Some issues need counselling rather than homoeopathy - although I find the homoeopathic consultation can be a very good counselling experience as well for many clients (if the practitioner has some empathy and compassion and is a good listener). Not everything in a person's life is a disease, sometimes things need to be talked out, worked on, resolved by an act of will rather than relying on a remedy to do it.
