Sometimes. Typically one of our medicines will have an observable effect within 1 week of taking it. Improvements should start within 2 weeks.
How long it might take to fully cure a disease depends on many factors however and it is not possible to give a broad general rule for everyone.
But, a person should begin to feel better in themselves, better in their energy, better in their mood, better in their sleep and so on, within a few weeks of starting treatment. This is how we know we are on the right remedy, because of those general improvements. A person on the right remedy may say 'I feel better in myself, even though my disease has not yet changed' and we have confidence to wait and see what happens.

Any remedy can harm you if it is incorrect. If you are taking 2 remedies at least one of them must be incorrect.
You should not need to take 2 remedies - one will cure your problems if it is the right one. If you are taking a medicine that is not curing all your major problems, a better one should be found.

When an incorrect medicine is taken, and the patient has developed new symptoms because of it (side effects) it may be necessary to antidote with a new remedy, chosen on the basis of all the symptoms the patient is currently showing. This may mean new and old symptoms together.
