Please help my Mother
I especially request Dr. Nawaz Khan, Kadwa and Joe De Livera to provide your inputs on this.This is regarding my mother. She is 53 yrs old, diabetic, hypothyroid and over weight. She weighs 90 Kgs. She is suffering from spinal cord bulged disc problem.
Below is the details of MRI report of her spinal cord.
1) GRADE - II SPONDYLOLISTHESIS OF L4 OVER L5 WITH DISK BULGING AT L4/L5 WITH INDENTATION OVER THE THECAL SAC & ENCROACHING THE NEURAL FORAMEN, BILATERALLY.
2) .MILD DISK BULGING AT L5/S1.
3) .FACET ARTHROPATHY AT L5/S1 ON LT. SIDE.
Her left waist, thigh and leg paining too much and can't walk or stand more than 3-5 mins.
Spinal cord surgeon referred my mother for surgery. He told she doesn't have some ligments since birth and need to be fixed with some steel screws in the surgery. He also advised to reduce weight as this is important.
Her diabetes reading shows normal.
She is Hypothyroid and over weight, weighing 90 Kgs.
Please help my mother to get rid of over weight, while controlling diabetes and leg pain.
Currently, she is taking the following medicines
Eltroxin 100mg for Thyroid
Zintac for gastric issues.
Vitroz - multi mineral, multi vitamin capsules
Shelcal 500mg - Calcium supplement
metformin hydrochloride to control sugar levels
For pain control and to strengthen the nerves
Nerz (methylcobalamin alpha lypoic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid)
Prelim 75 (pregabalin capsules)
Acuvin (Tramadol hydrochloride 37.5mg & Paracetmol 325mg)
Can she take Arnica 6 and Rhus tox 30 in the morning to control pains and diabetes and Phytolacca Berry tablets to control her weight along with proper diet?
Please advise which medicines to stop and what to add.
At the moment, we want her to continue thyroid, diabetes medicines. We want her to stop pain killers. Please help.

Hi Nawazkhan,
Thank you for your reply. She is normal with stool. No constipation. But the stool color is different as she is taking supplements as mentioned above.
We want to control pain, and reduce overweight to postpone the surgery for sometime.
Also, please let me know if the above mentioned homeopathy medicines can be given to her along with those allopathic medicine.

If I were to take this case, I need the whole data about her?
But, looking at the data you have provided, all she needs is a single remedy to cover all of her issues mentioned that is Natrum Phos 6X, 4 pills dissolved in 1/4 glass of mineral water, 3 times a day, for 1 week.
Patience is a virtue! Hey, The Mother is the only real relationship. Please be patient and brave.

1)Instead of taking 4 drops of Hypericum 200C in 1/4 glass of mineral water, can we make wet dose this way.. '3 drops in 400ml water, shake it and capful is one dose'? And everytime she takes the medicine, she will shake the bottle 6 times and takes the capful only. and keep the rest in refrigerator or aside.
2)When you say mineral water, is it bottle water sold outside like Kinleay, Bisleri etc?
3)Is mineral water mandatory or normal aqua guard water ok?

Yes, please prepare the dose as you have indicated using mineral water or spring water not the one you use for doing the dishes.
Hypericum 200C for pain only be used, if needed?
Natrum Phos 6X is the main remedy that will cover all of her pains too.

And one more thing, I guess I missed to inform you that she is suffering from sciatica because of Grade II spondylolisthesis L4 over L5 as mentioned in the first post. This will be covered by Nat phos 6x, right?

Can we relate this condition to Colocynthis 200c as she is suffering from sciatica pain too?

Hope you are doing good. I Would like to post the updates for my mother after taking your prescribed medicine for a week.
She has taken Nat Phos 6x thrice a day for a week and you asked to take Hypericum 200c wet dose (3 drops in 400 ml and 1 capful is a dose) whenever needed. She has taken Hypericum thrice a day for four days. Still couldn't control her pain and not able to sleep. So, I asked her to take Hypericum twice a day (morning & evening) and Arnica 30c wetdose once a day before going to bed (at night). After two days, pain came down a bit and her sleep also is good. After a week, she stopped Nat Phos as you advised her to take only for a week. But continuing Hypericum (twice a day) & Arnica (once a day) as she is having pain.
Current Symptoms:
While taking Nat phos, her gastric issues also came down. But after two days stopping the Nat phos, she is having belching and gas pains.
Regarding pain, eventhough it came down a bit, she is not able to stand more than a few mins (you can say 3-4 mins) as she gets pain. If she tries to sleep on back, leg starts paining or pulling sensation and so she is not able to sleep on back. She is able to sleep on right side but not left side as she is having problem with left leg only.
Can you please advise the further medicine? Also, please let me know if she can continue Nat Phos for her gastric issues.

2. I will ask her to stop the Hypericum 200C immediately and throw the solution in a sink.
3. I will ask my mom to start Colocynthis 200C, 4 drops in 1/4 cup of mineral water, 2 times a day for 3 days.
4. In the above post, you advised to take Nat Phos 6x for one more week. Can she continue this or stop this too? After stopping this for 3 days,(as you advised to take only for one week initially), she again started getting burps and gas pains especially in the right side. Previously, she used to take Zintac (Allopathic medicine) for gas related issues which kept it in control. She stopped this as you advised and took Nat Phos 6x for a week according the above prescription. During this, she nevered faced gas issues. So, do you want her to continue this or stop this and take only Colocynthis?
5. Can she take Arnica 30C wet dose for her sleep along with Colocynthis? If yes, please advise if she has to take only night or twice a day.

4. In the above post, you advised to take Nat Phos 6x for one more week. Can she continue this or stop this too? After stopping this for 3 days,(as you advised to take only for one week initially), she again started getting burps and gas pains especially in the right side. Previously, she used to take Zintac (Allopathic medicine) for gas related issues which kept it in control. She stopped this as you advised and took Nat Phos 6x for a week according the above prescription. During this, she nevered faced gas issues. So, do you want her to continue this or stop this and take only Colocynthis?
5. Can she take Arnica 30C wet dose for her sleep along with Colocynthis? If yes, please advise if she has to take only night or twice a day.
