The ABC Homeopathy Forum

persistent stomach bloating, fatigue, chronic bad digestion

Hello, I have been suffering from lots of bloating, fatigue, bad digestion, no matter what changes to my diet I make. Gone to about 35 allopaths who only laugh at me and did not help. Started with a naturopath who was able to help only so far and sent me again to an allopathic DR. who does not want to take care of me cause I lost my past two jobs and insurance. Currently taking Calc phos, calch sulf, silicea (6 pills a day, for 2 weeks + Phosp and Lyc 30c (3p)x 2 times/day but symptoms are worst after 6 days. Please Dr. help me. No one seems to care.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I am 49 yr old female. I started getting sick since 2006 when I had an intestinal parasites and infection and I was put on a lot of antibiotics, after 6 months and 10 doctors, I was given probiotics, nexium but I was worst, unable to digest and feeling fatigued all day long. I used to be really energetic and did a lot of exercise. After a year I did not feel any more energy. If I walk for about 20 minutes I had to sit down immediately and take bach flowers for anxiety and breathing problems. After visiting some other regular doctors, lots of x-rays and emergency rooms several times, no results. I am always positive at mind and happy no matter what, but when loose my jobs beacaus I can't keep up with my bloatin, fatigue, breathing and even talking for 10 minutes to anyone I have to sit cause I am out of breath. All doctors are able to prescribe me was anti anxiety pills or more proton pump pill so I am weaker every time.

Stop the medicines immediately. You will be harming yourself that way as it is not the correct way to use them, and most likely the wrong medicines.

Please wait 3 days for the effects to die down, and then give your case here so that someone can help you.

Thank you very much, I will stop them immediately and let you know how I'm feeling.

Hi, I stopped all medicines and today is the third day. I was taking lyc and phos 30c because my symptoms match your self test. Calc phos, calc sulph and sil because that was given to me 2 years ago when visited a naturopah.
I started Lyc and Phos with just one dose a day (3 p)for 3 days, but since I did not feel better, I took 2 doses a day for 4 days. I started feeling more energy and little less bloated, hair was falling less, I thought this was working. On the fifth day I started feeling worst, anything I ate caused me a lot more of bloating, felt more tired and fatigued than before, started having breathing problems again, like when you exercise a lot and feel out of breath but in this case I did not do any exercise at all. What should I do now?

Hi, it has been 12 days since I stopped all. This time I have been reading your posts and learned a litte. Should I start again a test with Lyc 30c one wet dose and wait 3 days or start with phos 30c?,
Please help.

Eating 5 small meals a day, drinking 2-3 lt. water, feeling fatigued all day, bloated before eating and more after meals. Seamed like I had an ulcer, even on a bland diet is a nightmare to eat.

It would be better to have someone take your case and prescribe a medicine according to the symptoms.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

1.What exactly happens? I feel out of energy all day long even while doing my daily chores. My stomach is bloated and distended all the time, and after eating anything I get more bloating, feel like I do not digest, feel some anxiety and oppression so breathing gets difficult. At this point I have to start walking to help digestion, take some digestive enzymes from papaya and probiotics which sometimes helps a little. If I have to talk to anybody I get out of breath after 15 or 30 minutes, and feel like I was running , really tired so I have to stop talking and sit down to catch my breath. I sometimes get constipated even when I take fiber and 3 lt water. My hair started shedding really bad since a year ago. My nose is stuffed most of the times, especially when is cold or humid. My extremities are cold. When I try to sleep I toss and turn for about one hour. My cheeks have dark brown spots since 8 years ago. Sometimes I feel pain in my liver area, my back ( above kidneys), shoulders and legs. I suffer from colds very often. If I walk for 15 minutes, I have to sit down and rest for hours until my energy comes back.

2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain. Sometimes I feel like I was running ,out of breath and all I did was talk a little or sweep the kitchen floor . The pain in liver is like a sharp needle especially after eating.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? Gets worst if I keep talking, or moving and do not sit still
4. What creates some relief for the problem? staying still and massage on my back
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? is a steady problem that does not go away
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? all day and night
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? I was a really active person able to work for 12 hours a day 6 -7 days a week, used to go to the gym, being in good shape. In 2006 I started feeling tired after I had parasites and a gi infection. I started going from doctor to doctor because the excessive antibiotics , proton pump inhibitors , and antianxiety rx where making me a different person. After that every doctor that took care of me told me that I did not have anything wrong up to the exams done, so they told me that my problem was stress and this was causing a problem in my hormones and gi tract. So every medicine they prescribed since then was making me sicker and weaker. I went to a naturopath but after a lot of vitamins and changes in diet, she sent me back to an allopath/ I had hypothyroidism since 2008 but in 2010 the allopath took me off the medicine because she said my levels were normal. I did not have gi ulcers but it feels like.

The traumatic incident is that I have been getting sick every time that I get a new job. Its like every new job only lasts for 3-4 months because I am unable to keep up with the energy level, and get sick very often (colds, flu and vag. infections)so I have to get antibiotics again. I fill that I am being successful at learning new skills and feel like a fish in the water on every new job.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life. I try to act like nothing is wrong and I tell myself the problem is finished. I tell myself everyday that I am healthy.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease. It has been six months since I had my last job and sometimes I find myself crying while watching sad news or a tv program.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved. Is frustrating to have so much energy at my mind and not being able to use it. I want to do so many things in life and go so many places but my body does not connect with this ideas and I cannot find a permanent cure.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases. I grew up being a happy and secure person, being the youngest of 5 sisters that always loved me and gave me all they could. I get along really well with all my family and love so much my parents. In school I was a well behaved girl , only few friends but in high school I was a popular and nice person.

Have you got your remedy yet? Let me know what you are taking and how you get on.

kohler last decade
Kohler.
No. Nobody has given me a remedy yet.
I am still waiting for some help. I pass my days taking a lot of digestive enzymes, probiotics, eating small amounts of vegetables, chicken, fish and some fruits. Even with this diet my stomach does not respond sometimes. I will let you know if anything changes. I hope you find your cure soon.

Dear doctors, please let me know what do you think about my case. Up to your software the best remedies for me would be lyc, phos, calc carb in that order. Since I took Lyc and phos toghether I think I made a huge mistake because all of my symptoms are worst, or do you think is just a case of a longer aggravation that can also result in positive changes for me?. As I told you before, I stopped all remedies since 15 days ago.
Please doctors I would appreciate If you give me any insights. Thank you.

Lulu61 last decade
Yes I hope you do to.

What has lyco and phos done that makes you feel things have got worse.

I found that lyco helped straight away but about 8 hours later you get a bloated stomach.

Lulu61 last decade
The general state is very similar to Calc-carb - Cold, Cold extremities, Aggravated by cold, Short of breath, Tired and worn out from slight exertion.

Get hold of Calc 30c.

Hello Brisbane, I have calc carb 30c pillules, please let me know on dose.

Lulu61 last decade
Do you have a bottle and dropper available?

Then place 2 pillules in a mixture of alcohol and water, in the bottle (1 part to 5 parts). Any spirit should do (that does not have cream in it). Let them dissolve.

This is then the procedure for taking each dose.

Hit the bottom of the bottle firmly against the palm of the hand twice. Place 1 drop in a 1/2 cup of water and stir thoroughly. Take 1 teaspoon into the mouth and throw the rest of the cup away, remembering to clean and dry the cup.

Do this once a day for no more than 3 days in a row. Let me know what happens.

thank you very much, I have a bottle dropper of 30 ml. So I will add 5ml of alcohol and 25ml of water. I'll start tomorrow morning 30 minutes before breakfast and let you know. Should I stop multivitamins, probiotics and digestive enzymes too?
thanks again.

Lulu61 last decade
No the nutritional supplements are fine. Actually it is better to change nothing, so that if the remedy has an effect it can be clearly seen as the remedy.

Good luck and keep me informed.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
many thanks Brisbane, I will let you know of any changes
