Help with son aged 10 (anxiety, fear and a rapid pulse rate)

Looking for a homeopathic remedy that might help my son with some challenges he faces on a daily basis.

Thank you in advance for your assistance

Concerns
• Anxiety / Fear (strive for perfection, fear of making a mistake and negative outcomes)
• Can get fixated on one thought.
• Rapid pulse
• Speech issues

Overview
Male
Age 10
Average height for his age
Weight is low, 5% body fat
Eats well
Teeth: Has braces due to the teeth being crowded
Vision: far sighted and wears glasses for reading. He was tested for Irlen Syndrome, formerly known as Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome (SSS) and he now uses a yellow colored overlay to help with tracking while reading.
Hearing: Normal
Personality: Generally a happy child, well mannered, considerate about the feelings of others, gets along with most children and adults.
Sleep: Good sleeper, earlier riser, very few bad dreams or difficultly falling asleep
Student: Good student, above average in all subjects.
Climate: Coastal, temperature range 60 winter~ 85 summer

Anxiety / Fear
He worries about making a mistake. He feels that mistakes equal failure despite what his parents and teachers tell him about the importance of learning from mistakes and how beneficial they can be. He worries that his actions will disappoint others unless his actions are flawless. He also tends to take things to extremes, for example, if he gets a cut he asks almost in a panic if he is going to die. When the anxiety / fear occurs the results are either his inability to taking action and / or he breaks down into tears.

Causes & Relief: Anything new to him causes anxiety but the severities of his reactions vary by day and subject matter. Physical challenges (sport, play, etc.) are normally met with him asking several clarifying questions so he knows exactly what is expected of him. Intellectual challenges are tougher for him to deal with and can cause him freeze or start to cry. Pressure to perform due to time limitations also aggravate his anxiety.
Usually relief comes from explaining exactly what is required of him and what steps he should take to complete the task at hand. Sometime talking through his concerns, reminding him that he isn’t the only person in the world to make a mistake and telling him that mistakes are an important part of the learning process.

There is no time of day when the symptoms are any better or worse they seemed to be triggered more by situation than time. Anxiety has always been an issue for him this is not a new development but one that we feel limits his ability to enjoy life and life’s experiences completely.

Fixated on one thought / Idea
His teachers have noticed that at times he becomes fixated on one thought or task and until he either expresses his ideas or his thought is dealt with he is unable to move on to a new topic. We have noticed this at home as well. Multitasking is not always easy for him as a result especially when he assigns one of the tasks a higher priority than the others.

There is no time of day when the symptoms are any better or worse.

Rapid Pulse
His pulse rate is very fast, 139 beats per minute, resting. His overall blood pressure is borderline high but not yet at the level where medication has prescribed. He has a family history of similar rapid pulse rates and elevated blood pressure from his father and his father’s parents.

Causes & Relief: The cause is unknown and but his symptoms were described by his doctor as if his nervous system as a car with the accelerator a push to the floor and the brake not working at all.

There is no real relief other than rest and again that only brings the pulse rate down to its normal fast rate. There is no time of day when the symptoms are any better or worse. Physical activity naturally causes his pulse rate to rise even higher. He is good at quick sprints but his endurance suffers as a result.

Speech
He was speech delayed as a child and he received years of speech therapy. Great improvements in articulation were made after his lingual frenulum was cut by a dentist. He still has articulation issues and has a slight lisp. His teachers has suggested that we get him back into speech therapy.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him three doses of Lycopodium 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I have ordered the Lycopodium 200 and I will report back 15 days after he starts his first dose.

Again thank you for taking the time to help us.

It has been slightly over 15 days since he finished his 3rd dosage and we have seen improvements.

If there is anything else we should be doing please let us know.

Thank you for your help.

Please give more details like what improvements you have observed? Whether there has been any effect on his digestion?

We have noticed that he is less anxious and seems more confident in himself. We have had fewer times when he has become so overwhelmed that he starts to cry. The best way to describe his change is that he seems to have matured since taking the Lycopodium.

We have not noticed any changes in his digestive patterns, eating or sleeping habits.

Thanks again for your time and assistance. My wife and I are both thrilled at the improvements we have seen in his life as a result of your help.
