What should be default remedy potency

Q1. If some one is not able to predict correct remedy potency then what should be the default potency of remedy

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is no default potency. Potency is selected by a trained practitioner on the basis of the indiviual's case. Each individual will have a potency that works best for them.

Wherever you start, you may choose the wrong one. For first aid situations the low potencies are more likely to work efficiently (6c, 12c, 30c). It is a simple matter then to slowly move up the potency scale until the right potency is hit.

However unless you are sure of the remedy choice, most non-homoeopaths will change their remedies too quickly (some homoeopaths do this too) or will continue using the wrong remedy and create side effects for the patient.

If in doubt, most practitioners will start low. For those using the LM potency scale, 0/1 is typically the first potency used, and they move up each potency one at a time when that one stops working ie. 0/2, 0/3 etc.

The wrong potency will affect how well the remedy appears to work, or if it works at all. One must be confident in the choice to spend the time trying to work out the correct potency. It may be necessary to adjust the dosage amount and frequency as well. Management using potency and dosage can be almost as tricky as choosing the remedy.
