All case related information provided....Please Please Help !!!! - Hypothyroidism case...

I am writing to seek your help on my recently diagnosed condition of hypothyroidism.

I have been prescribed synthroid 75 mcg but have not started this. Once started can I take Homoepathy ? Will homeopathy cure this disease?
I live in USA and so wanted to consult before starting to take Synthroid.

I have copied some symtopms from a previous post since my symptoms are very similar.

I have been reading the advice and prescriptions that Sameer Vermani has given to other patients with similar conditions on this and would request him or anyone else to please provide some directions to me too.

Please let me know if more info is required.

Please help me. Thanks!

Raj

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

Thanks for the reply and providing the guidelines. I'll try to explain as best as I can-

1. What exactly happens?

as explained above, I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroid. Currently I feel very tired all the times not wanting to do anything, no zeal or enthusiasm, mild depression. My food intake has increased and exercise decreased. I find fault in everything and everyone. Connot focus on my office job, do not feel like going to work, wish I could have my own business and freedom to do and go anywhere I wanted. Do not want to stay in one place or job or project for long. Constantly worry about my health and my family members health and feel frustrated that I cannot do anything about it.

2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.

I have dull headaches quite often which starts around 2 pm to around 7-8 pm. Sometimes take painkiller. Surprisingly dont get these headaches when I am on leave or during the weekends. After eating get this fullness feeling in stomach and cramps like something is turning my stomach. recently in the morning I get pains in back and calf of legs.
Also I get bouts of nausea, acid reflux after eating certain foods.

3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?

Stress, lights, noise, shouting and tension.

4. What creates some relief for the problem?

Rest, loose clothes, listening to light music, being alone, crying/self pity, going to stools also helps.

5. What triggers the problem into occuring?

Stress, some types of food, tension, general problems, worry about family and family members health

6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?

mostly starts at around between 1-3 pm and worst is at around 4-5 pm

7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

It started last year when a family member fell really sick. She is undergoing treatment but I feel frustrated that I cannot help more or make her btter any faster. I also feel frustrated that the family member is not taking extra steps to help herself heal.

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate

Crave for any type of spicy / sour food. After lunch or dinner I crave very much for seats in particular for ice cream after dinner.

2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate

I crave for and can consume watery soup anytime and even if I am full. I dont drink too much of water unless I am really thirsty, instead prefer juice or sometime beer.

3. What your sleep is like
Go to sleep at around 10 and get up at 7 am, sleeping too much and still I feel tired throughout the day.

4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
I do best in moderate weather. Any sudden change (either too hot or too cold)tends to give me headaches

5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to

too much sun and wind.

6. What your general level of energy is like

It used to be quite high but nowadays I feel lethargic the whole day and just want to come home and sit in front of TV and do nothing.

7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like

very less these days

Hope this help. Thanks very much for your interest.
