Homeopathy for concussion (TBI). Advice needed!

Hi all,

I don’t know much about homeopathy. I had a minor concussion (TBI) recently. I have desire to rest, don’t want to sit or stand, trouble concentrating, 'heavy' head.
I called a homeopath known to my family member. She recommended taking:

Arnica 3x
Conium 3x
Hypericum 3x
Apis 3c
- about 8 pellets of each dissolved in half-liter of water, sipped through out half-day during first 2 days. Then half the dosage.

I had higher dosages available in store, and bought these:

Arnica 6x
Conium 6c
Hypericum 6c
(no Apis)

- and I’m taking these 3 as described.

Question: would you agree with this treatment? I hope it’s not very much wrong. Any recommendations?

Thank you!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I guess that homoeopath didn't know what remedy to give you. Did she use your symptoms to prescribe for you (as should be done in homoeopathy)? Doesn't seem like it, just threw a few remedies that might help at you in the hope that one of them is right. Well perhaps you will be lucky.

She asked about my symptoms but briefly. These remedies don’t seem to be right? I have desire to rest, don’t want to sit or stand, trouble concentrating, “heavy” head, basically don’t want to do anything, can’t think clearly. Occasional mild headache like feeling for a second.

Hard to say, many of those symptoms are very general and not distinct. Some of them have hundreds of remedies indicated for them. We have over 180 medicines known for concussion. Just no way to judge.

Personally I would only take one of them at a time, starting with Arnica. Arnica does have most of those symptoms but again so do lots of other remedies.
