My cat has a small puncture i
My cat came home this morning. He has a small puncture bite in his left shoulder. He doesn't like to even be picked up because of the pain. He doesnot want to eat nor drink., but he is resting I gave him 1 ledum 30x 2 hours ago . Can I give him aconite I read the article about the dog. Would I use different products on a cat because of the differences in their systems. He is 9 years old long haired black cat. mixed breed has persian in him he weighs 13 pounds. Lovable sweet natured ,yet fisky.He's my babyLadthena on 2005-05-19

Aconite works great the first 24 hrs- you may still give it. ledum, hypericum (very good for pain!) ((and smaller remedy:plantago) are for puncture wounds.
However, the wound may be not the main problem but who made it- is it swollen (try apis) bleeding?

Yes, and rinse wound with peroxide at least two times daily.

And consider giving Arnica or Bellis to prevent bruising and reduce swelling. Should also bring great relief.

My cat Merlin is great.Running about I treated him .Cut hair back to veiw wound use perxoide. Used a poultice of Bentonite clayand epsomsalts . Used homeopathic SYSTEMAJUV Tincture :Echinae, A Bapiisia,phyioacca,hydrastis,trifolium. METALTOX tincture: Barberry,allium satvum,avena sativa,solidago,lappa arctum HEMOTOX: Dandelion, Lachesis Mutus. Used Arnica and Bellis and Ledum
